Do you want to race with us in the AR world champs in Paraguay? We are looking for a female to join us in september. We have raced expedition guarani before and have good knowledge about the terrain and maps. Our ambition is to do a clean race and enjoy this fantastic country and its amazing people. ARWS - Adventure Racing World Series

The start of NIAR 2021 was in the old butcher area just south of Stockholm. This area is known for its rough urban look and truly iconic buildings. TA1 and HQ is one of these, but will shift shape in September and turn in to fine dinning restaurants!

Nytt år, nya möjligheter!

Vi jobbar för ett PARS 2021 men bevakar pandemin. Om vi arrangerar kommer vi köra helt enligt rekommendationer inklusive polistillstånd.

PARS, Pioneers adventure race Sverige, lever efter devisen "snabbt, billigt och enkelt." Vi arrangerar adventure races med smak av de långa tävlingarna i bl a AR world series. Vår ambition är att attrahera fler till sporten vi älskar! PARS är skapad av racers för racers i absolut första hand och vi arrangerar tävlingar till självkostnadspris och utan vinstintresse.
2020 lyckades vi köra ett turboevent som trots svåra (typiskt franska) kartor blev väldigt lyckat. Ni som inte tagit del av alla bilder från det racet, gå in under bilder på PARS facebooksida. Alla bilder är som vanligt fria att använda men tagga gärna PARS. Vi lyckades dessutom få till ett polistillstånds vilket kanske var svårare än själva kartorna.

2021 är ambitionen att återgå till ursprungsformatet. Start fredag kväll och mål söndag lunch. Banchef Tommy Ivarsson har kokat ihop en bana som ser ut att bli ännu bättre än tävlingen i Vimmerby 2019. Riktig AR helt enkelt. Som vanligt ingår mat vid målgång, hyrbåtar samt allt bild- och filmmaterial i anmälningsavgiften. Datumet är som vanligt första (eller andra) helgen i augusti.

PARS kommer upp som event där intresse kan anmälas vilket förenklar för vår planering!

Nu håller vi tummarna för att detta ges förutsättningar att bli av. Oavsett, träna och ät er gröt!

More than 40 degrees difference between todays training temperature and the weather conditions in in June. Science argue that blood gets thinner in hot climates and thicker in cold. Nevertheless, the heart gets its fair share in both conditions.

Thank you for filling up spares and sending the Osprey Levity 45 pack for us to test. This pack contains alot of smart AR features and weighs in on only 0,8 kg! This pack might be the choice for longer races were you need to carry lots of stuff. Lets test it out! Also we got new silicone nozzles and extra hoses and some new hydraulics reservoirs, its important to maintain hygiene in your water reservoirs. More AR memories from The States! Racing in USA is so easy. The hospitality is allways top, there is AR-food in every store;) and all kinds of nature within reach. Expedition Oregon 2019 was despite that a tough race on a tough course but we manage to remain in control and finished in 5th place. Pics: and and

Caves! We have spent many hours in caves around the world. From jungle sinkholes in Central Americas to underworld waterways in the high alps. These moments are always something special. One caving system that we never will forget is caves of in France 2017. granted access to a underworld that was absolutely fantastic and we 3D navigated many hours before reaching to sunlight again! Epic memories!

Expedition Guarani 2017. Hot, hot and hot. Paraguay is a beautiful country with fantastic people and amazing food. They also have something special called that is the best race fuel you can have! Racing in the jungle is special in many ways and also very demanding. Taking care of your feet, looking out (or up) for snakes and protecting yourself from the strong sun are just some skills your team need to master. Making friends is crucial in AR, Marika is chatting with some local fisherman in order to get a ride over a river. We love jungles! Despite some illness we finished 10th. Never ever give up.

2020 has been a tough year when it comes to travelling and AR racing. Next year will hopefully open up for more racing and until than will post pictures from races we have been a part of. First of is Cowboy Tough Wyoming in US 2016. Racing in the US is a great experience. They have everything when it comes to epic landscapes, race food and friendly people. The race was at fairly high alltitude and had long tough legs. It was very windy and hot during the days and cold during the nights. Great memories. We came top ten.
