Late race Report from FMCK Borås Supermoto
Friday practice
It was muddy but really funny practice.
The feeling has been really good the last 3 races and was feeling confident.
I did like 7 practice runs.
Saturday Raceday
went out on the first practice to warm up the body and I was pumped, just waiting for the TQ's in both Open class and the 40+
TQ 40+
I had good speed and really tried to push hard, in the end I got P.2 behind Patrik Kerttu and was very happy with that because he is a fast rider.
TQ Open Class
went out when everybody else were on the track, i wanted clean lines to do a fast lap. I was 3rd fastest for 6 laps and I wasn't pleased with that and pushed harder to get a higher position in the starting grid. On the 7th lap I got to P.2 with 2sec behind Nicce46 from finland and infront of Jon from norway with a 0.22sec
Heat 1 40+
Got a great start before braking into the first corner when from out of nowhere Martin Dahlén Ekwall came on the inside of me on his fast aprilia. I was on my 2nd place until we came to the 2nd dirt section were i did a pass on him up to P.1.
After that Patrik also passed by Martin and was chasing me through out almost the entire race. When 2 laps was remaining Kerttu made his mpve and passed me. At the finish line I got P.2 and was really happy with that.
Heat 1 Open Class
In the start I was to pumped and did a jumpstart and i knew that I had to get the penalty "Stop and go" 15 sec. I held the lead for 2 laps and decided to take my penalty. That penalty made me drop from P.1 to 7th. Now I had to push to the limit to have a small chance to be in the top 3 in the overall. Between lap 3 and 6 i got up to P.4 and started to see Max Hallström on P.3. He had to good pase for me to overtake him on the remaining laps. At the finish line I got P.4.
After the race in open I thought I've lost every chans to be on the podium. Never give up and never surrender!
Heat 2 40+
Another great start but it was exactly as in heat one Martin with his beast of aprilia once again came on the inside in the first corner. And I passed him on the same spot in the dirt section. The race was on, I had to everything in my power to hold Patrik sbehind me. On Lap 6 he made his move and i was on P.2 and i saw him get further away from me. Unfortunately something happend to Patriks bike on lap 10 so he had to pull to the side and I could pass him, so now I was on P.1 again. I held the lead the last laps and won.
A win is a win, but thats not how i wanna win. I really felt bad for Patrik with his unfortune in the race. P.2 in heat 1 and P.1 in heat 2 made me the winner of the race and the overall in the 40+ class
Heat 2 Open Class
P.4 on the starting grid, and I wanted revenge from my jump-start in heat 1. In to the first corner i was 3rd and was chasing Johan Granvik, i was really pushing to get a pass on him to have a small shot to be in the top 3. Johan med me really fight hard to pass him, when i finally made it to P.2 on lap 7 there was an big accident between Niklas Wenström and Jon Grevæg from norway on the second jump. They decided to redflag the heat and cancel the race because of the accident. So i droped down to P.3 from previous lap because of the red flag.
Thankfully both riders (today) are on their feet's bruised and few fractures but are feeling much better now 🙏🙏
So I got P.3 in the race overall with P.4 in heat 1 and P.3 in heat 2. And I got the overal P.3 in the Open Class.
So next year I'll be racing in S1/Elit Class, I'm very exited and pumped.
I wish the best recovery to all the riders that got injured, and can be back on track soon 🙏
I wanna thank all of my friends and family for the loving support I've had trough the whole season, you are my greatest supporter's and i wanna say i love you all.
See you in 2026
