A tremendous thank you to our hosts in Bollnas, Sweden for welcoming competitors from around the world and putting together such a memorable championship.

Thank you as well to the organizers, officials, volunteers, sponsors and supporters whose hard work made the event possible. World Championships like this take an incredible amount of work behind the scenes, and we are grateful to everyone who played a part.

And most importantly, thank you and congratulations to every competitor who stepped up to the throwing line.

The World Championships are about much more than the final scores. They bring together axe throwers from different countries and communities to compete, reconnect, make new friendships and celebrate the sport we all share.

We’re proud to finally give our champions their well-deserved spotlight. Please join us in congratulating them!

Hello everyone!!!
The scoreing person that is me Daniel has been working har for this paper with the results to be released from the world championships in Bollnäs this weeken that last very fast.
Sorry i did not have time and talk with everyone that i really wanted but i was needed on an a important task🙌
We for Tönnångers yxkastare would like to say again to you that has traveled from all over the world to Bollnäs and the 5th world Championships! Many many thanks to you all that has visit us and now when you start your Journey home we wish you a safe travels and stay safe and healthy. Best wishes from me Daniel Hedberg and Stefan Persson and Crew that worked hard and long days! We thank also the crew because without them it would not have been a pretty smoothly competition
And we in Tönnångers yxkastare want to thank Rehns BK for their hard work and support with everything doing setup and food and parking area.

Qualification day today for both men and women. The juniors are just getting a feeling for the event!🤗

The cut the men to be in the quarterfinal is 85 points.
But there is 7 people there that fights for the 3 spots that are left🤗

The official schedule for the 2026 World Double Bit Axe Throwing Championships has been released!

From July 30 – August 2, 2026, competitors from around the world will gather in Bollnäs, Sweden to compete for World Championship titles in Men's, Women's, Junior, and Team divisions.

The World Championships are more than just a competition, they are a celebration of our sport, bringing together athletes, officials, volunteers, and supporters from across the globe.

We look forward to welcoming throwers from every corner of the axe throwing community as they compete for the highest honour in double bit axe throwing.

Good luck to all competitors as they prepare for the journey to Sweden! 🇸🇪
