Our 7 houses, built around 1920 directly on the beach at lake Ärtingen, have been recently renovated and wait for you to spend an unforgettable holiday in one of Sweden's most beautiful spots, the Dalsland Canal.
The cottages have different sizes and accommodate between 2 and 4 persons. Each house has its own bathroom (for a hot shower after a swim in the lake), kitchen and a wind sheltered terrace with a wonderful lake view.
BBQ and parking is available for each house and there are two boats (one paddle boat, one motorboat) that belong to the cottages and can be rented at any time.
In the mornings and evenings you are likely to see beavers swim in front of your house and if you are lucky you can even spot elks in the woods across the bay.
Many activities wait for you, e.g., fishing, canoeing, biking, going by bycicle trolley, elk safaris, boat tour on the famous Dalsland channel. For more information visit Bengtsfors Tourist Information Page
