From an empty corner to a high-class climbing wall!

Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of consulting for on their brand-new facility.

When climbing clubs launch a project like this, the hardest part often isn’t just building—it’s knowing the right questions to ask. Many teams don’t always know what it truly takes to design a wall that functions seamlessly for daily operations, different skill levels, and long-term club growth.

Being that guiding support system from day one has been incredibly rewarding. Together, we covered the entire journey:

* Smart wall design & material selection
* Practical construction & spatial flow
* Final route setting & project completion

Now, has an amazing, inclusive space featuring high rope walls (top-rope & lead) and a dedicated mezzanine bouldering area.

Mission accomplished.

Just wrapped up 200+ PU holds for Norway and . Ranging from the smallest details to macro-sized features. Mostly big ones.

A small portion of this batch got the VIP treatment with a striking, glossy dual-tex finish. Perfecting this technique was a journey of its own. Mistakes were made, valuable lessons were learned, but that’s exactly how we grow.

Why replace when you can restore?

This macro was ready for a refresh, together with hundreds of similar shapes. Instead of replacing it, it underwent a full repair and premium recoating.

While buying new costs 119€, the total for this repair and recoat was just 35€. Beyond the cost savings, this new finish is engineered to outperform, lasting at least twice as long as the original Composite X polyurethane.

True sustainability in the climbing industry means extending the lifecycle of PREMIUM shapes, reducing waste, and maximizing value for gym operations.

Freshly coated and ready to set.

A new batch of volumes wrapped up in the workshop. These were all repaired and recoated using a dualtex finish. The client asked for a clean mix of organic shapes and straight dual-texture lines, and we’re really happy with how they turned out.

The Details:

This Batch: Around 30 volumes refreshed.

The Bigger Picture:This brings the total to over 130 volumes we’ve repaired and recoated for this specific client throughout the year.

At the End: That last hold shown in the video is a quick look at a separate batch of repaired PU holds that are on their way to Norway 🇳🇴

Something a little different in the workshop this week!

I usually focus on making climbing volumes, but I recently got the opportunity to build the front panel for the new reception desk at .

Super happy and honored they asked me to take this on!

The final piece matches the clean aesthetic of their recent volumes perfectly, and I think the final result is going to look incredible installed.

Old volumes don’t die—they just wait for a glow-up.

Every well-loved volume has a story, but there comes a point where ”broken-in” just feels ”burnt out.”

Most people think a refurb is just a fresh coat of texture, but if you’re willing to give them some extra love and care, you can turn a basic box into a high-end masterpiece.

By precision-masking and sanding specific faces down to a high-grit polish, you get that soft and slick feeling that defines modern climbing.

It’s the ultimate contrast: one side gives you all the bite, the other gives you absolutely nothing.

Don’t retire your wood—reinvent it.

A first look at the new fiberglass line?

I’ve been working on some new fiberglass shapes lately, and I’m really happy with how this first sample turned out.

It’s hopefully the start of a new line I’m developing, and so far, the quality feels solid and sturdy.

One thing that makes these a bit different is the use of green epoxy. Compared to the standard polyester usually found in the industry, the epoxy has a slightly lower environmental footprint. It also gives the shape a bit more flexibility, which helps it sit better against the wall.

Overall, it just feels really nice and climbable. A big shoutout to and for helping me dial in this specific pigment—the color came out exactly how I’d hoped.

Sustainability in focus: The ”Off-Cut” Volume:
In the video, you’ll also see a third, smaller volume. This is a perfect example of our ”off-cut” philosophy.

We use the leftover material from your orders to create smaller versions of the same shape. This maximizes material usage, reduces waste, and gives you a high-quality volume at a fraction of the original price.

Stay tuned! These shapes will soon be added to our portfolio and order form in 3-4 different standard sizes.
