Dominant All-Round Performance Powers Örebro CK to Victory
Örebro CK delivered a masterclass with both bat and ball to secure a decisive 51-run victory over Trident Sports Club in the 2026 Superettan.
Setting a massive total of 248/7 in their 20 overs, Örebro’s innings was fueled by explosive half-centuries from Obeidullah A (77 off 30) andBinara De Zoysa(75 off 32), with Dana M Miakhel adding a quickfire 35 off 21 balls to push the score out of reach.
Defending the total, Örebro’s attack made immediate inroads. Obeidullah A capped off a stellar all-round display by ripping through the opposition lineup to take 5 wickets for 30 runs in 3.3 overs. Binara R supported with 2-33, while Dinesh Bisht picked up 1-22 to keep the pressure on.
Trident Sports Club were left stranded at 179/8 in 18.3 overs when match time officially expired, sealing a comfortable victory for Örebro CK.

Örebro CK delivered a dominant performance to secure an 8-wicket victory over Spånga ECC in their Svenska Cricketförbundet 2026 Superettan T20 match.

Örebro’s bowlers set the tone early by rolling Spånga out for 132 in 19.2 overs, led by Player of the Match Pardes Aman (3/22), Jawad Hussain. (2/26), and Mustafa Amiri . (2/27).

Örebro made quick work of the 133-run target, cruising to 133/2 in just 15 overs thanks to Pardes Aman's match-winning all-round effort (61 off 40) alongside an unbeaten half-century from Dinesh Bisht. (57* off 46).

After two tough losses, Örebro CK came back stronger in their third encounter, delivering a fierce, all-round performance to secure a magnificent 46-run victory against Sigtuna Cricket Club in the 2026 Superettan T20!

MATCH SUMMARY:

Determined to reset their campaign, Örebro CK took charge early and maintained momentum throughout the 20 overs.

First Innings (Batting):

Örebro CK posted a strong total of 156/8 in 20.0 overs. Dana M Miakhel set the tone with a blistering 49 off 30 balls, falling just one run short of a well-deserved half-century. He was brilliantly supported by Ah Obaid (34 off 37) and a fast-paced cameo from Saqib Khan (19 off 13).

Second Innings (Bowling):

Defending 156, Örebro’s bowling attack hit the ground running. Abubakar Chaudhry led the charge with a game-changing 3/27 in 4 overs, while Binara De Zoysa provided tight control with 2/15 in 4 overs. Dinesh Bisht closed out the game in style with an ultra-frugal spell of 2/4 in just 1.0 over, dismantling Sigtuna for 110 in 17.2 overs.

A huge thanks to Uppsala Gränby Cricket Förening for traveling down today! Despite the intense heat, both teams showed incredible grit to push through both matches.

Match 1: Örebro CC won by 7 wickets.
Uppsala CC: 87-10 (14.3 overs)
Örebro CC: 88-3 (6.5 overs)

Highlights: Mohammad Abubakr dismantled the opposition with a spectacular 3-1, backed by Pardes Aman's 2-4. Dinesh Bisht (35* off 18) and Dana Miakhel (27 off 16) made short work of the chase.

Match 2: Uppsala CC won by 7 wickets
Örebro CC: 143-8 (20.0 overs)
Uppsala CC: 146-3 (16.2 overs)

Highlights: Dana Miakhel anchored the team with a brilliant 61* off 54 balls, and Mustafa Amiri chipped in with a quick 24. Pardes Aman led the defense with 3-28.

Örebro CK Defeat Sigtuna CC by 46 Runs

Örebro CK produced an impressive all-round performance to secure a 46-run victory over Sigtuna Cricket Club in the T30 Division 1.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Örebro posted 169/9 in 30 overs. Obeidullah Ahmadzai led the way with a brilliant 69 off 63 balls, while Dinesh Bisht scored 37 before retiring injured. Binara De Zoysa added 20 runs to strengthen the total.

In reply, Sigtuna were bowled out for 123 in 23.4 overs. Muhammad Saad Sajid S top scored with 27, but Örebro’s bowlers kept the chase under control throughout.

Binara R starred with the ball, claiming 3/9, while Pardes took 4/30 to seal a comfortable win.

Örebro CK clinched a thrilling 2-run victory over Mälaren Cricket Club XI in the Svenska Cricketförbundet T30 Division 1. Örebro were bowled out for 119, with Binara De Zoysa top-scoring with 30. Prasad L starred for Mälaren with 4/31.

In reply, Mälaren were dismissed for 117. Khyber Mahmood produced a match-winning spell of 3/3, while Jawad Hussain claimed 3 wickets to help Örebro defend their total and seal a dramatic win.
