Supported Bridge is one of my favorite yin/restorative poses when I need to slow down and reconnect. And it works wonders for my hip flexors also!
By supporting the body, we can soften unnecessary effort, create space through the front of the hips, and invite ease into the lower back.
From there, attention naturally has room to settle inward. Because yoga is an inner cultivation practice... or at least it should be in my view 😉
In Chinese Medicine, the Heart is the home of the Shen (Spirit). When Heart energy is balanced, it supports emotional stability, mental clarity, compassion, and an inner sense of peace.
Sometimes the most profound practice isn’t about doing more—it’s about allowing more.
