Aisha Almehairi… The First Emirati Woman to Conquer the Full Distance Ironman New Zealand!

In a groundbreaking achievement, Emirati athlete Aisha Almehairi has become the first Emirati woman to complete the Full Distance Ironman New Zealand, held today in Taupō—one of the world’s toughest endurance races!

Aisha battled through an epic 226.2 km challenge, starting with 3.8 km of swimming in the cold waters of Lake Taupō, followed by 180.2 km of cycling on a demanding course, and finishing with a grueling 42.2 km marathon run. She crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 16 hours and 39 minutes, averaging 9:21 minutes per kilometer.

This was more than just a race—it was a fight against exhaustion and physical limits. Yet, Aisha proved that determination makes the impossible possible! Her achievement is not just a personal victory, but an inspiring message to all Arab athletes: “Challenge yourself, surpass everyone!”

Congratulations to Aisha Almehairi… This is just the beginning!

عائشة المهيري… أول إماراتية تتحدى المستحيل في آيرون مان نيوزيلندا (المسافة الكاملة) وتنجح!

في إنجاز رياضي غير مسبوق، أصبحت البطلة الإماراتية عائشة المهيري أول إماراتية تكمل سباق Ironman New Zealand (المسافة الكاملة)، الذي أقيم اليوم في مدينة تاوبو النيوزيلندية، أحد أقوى وأصعب سباقات التحمل في العالم!

خاضت عائشة التحدي على مدار 226.2 كيلومترًا من الإصرار والعزيمة، متنقلة بين 3.8 كم سباحة في مياه بحيرة تاوبو الباردة، تلتها 180.2 كم على الدراجة عبر طرق مليئة بالتحديات، ثم أنهت السباق بماراثون كامل لمسافة 42.2 كم جريًا، لتحقق إنجازًا استثنائيًا بزمن 16 ساعة و39 دقيقة، وبمعدل 9:21 دقيقة لكل كيلومتر.

لم يكن هذا مجرد سباق، بل كان معركة ضد الإرهاق والحدود الجسدية، ومع ذلك، أثبتت عائشة أن العزيمة تصنع المستحيل! إنجازها ليس مجرد فوز شخصي، بل رسالة ملهمة لكل الرياضيين العرب: “تحدَّ نفسك، تفوَّق على الجميع!”
