Team registration is now complete and on 4 September we will finally kick off the new season!

Finally, FY25-26 season comes to an end and we have experienced great performances throughout the season and this last tournament. As this was our first tournament in the Hayer League reaching the Quarter Final stage is an achievement and a result of the belief, commitment and teamwork shown by the entire Razor Stags squad in all areas.
In the Quarter Final, Razor Stags faced a challenging target of 201 runs. Our overall bowling was definitely challenged by the opposing team's batsmen who looked to maintain a higher strike rate from ball 1.
For the major part, batsmen dominated the bowlers however, Muzammil was able to take a wicket in each during powerplay and afterwards ending with 2/36. After powerplay, major restriction to the opposition's runs flow came from Nasir Ayub Muhammad Ayub Joyia who delivered an outstanding spell under pressure taking 3 wickets for 31 runs, which played a crucial role in restricting Kings XI Brahmanbaria from reaching an even bigger total, with support from Raheel to contain runs.

Our batting unit struggled from the start with key wicket dropped, however, great fighting spirit was shown by Muzammil Munaf Khatri playing a brilliant knock of 68 runs off 42 balls, including 10 boundaries with Raheel providing support on the other end. Later in the innings Muzammil was paired with Salman Saleem Muhammad Saleem who provided valuable support with an unbeaten 37 runs off 29 balls. Their 50 run partnership kept our hopes alive and brought us closer to the target. Due to slower run rate and opposing team's disciplined bowling and exceptional fielding Razor Stags fell short and lost by 36 runs.

Razor stags is determined to come back in the next season with more belief, discipline, focus and finally with more wins InshaALLAH!

Alhamdulillah all praise to ALLAH Almighty a proud moment for the team in our first appearance in the Hayer League, finishing top of Group C after a strong and consistent group stage performance.
The team showed great balance and unity throughout the tournament. The batting unit played with responsibility, building key partnerships and delivering when it mattered most, whether setting targets or chasing under pressure. The bowling attack remained disciplined and effective, regularly picking up crucial wickets and controlling the flow of runs at important stages of the game. In the field, the team displayed high energy and commitment, saving valuable runs, taking sharp catches, and supporting the bowlers with excellent effort and coordination.
Overall, it was a complete team performance built on consistency, teamwork, and determination, which led to topping the group. This achievement sets a strong foundation as we move forward into the knockout stage with confidence and belief.

In a much anticipated encounter of the Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser T20 Tournament 2026 – Hayer League match Razor Stags produced a complete all-round masterclass to defeat Kashmir XI by five wickets chasing down a target of 175 with more than two overs to spare.
•After opting to bat first Kashmir XI posted 174/9 in 20 overs, with solid contributions from Sumair Mushtaq (32 off 21) and Aamir Sofi (29 off 15), who gave their side a fast and aggressive start.
However, the Razor Stags’ bowling unit responded with discipline, control, and sharp ex*****on. Captain Mujtaba led from the front with an excellent bowling spell with 2 wickets, combining intelligent field placements, smart variations, and tight lines that kept constant pressure on the batters. His captaincy stood out as he rotated bowlers effectively and built pressure at key stages of the innings.
The most damaging impact came from Nasir Ayub Muhammad Ayub Joyia, who produced a sensational spell, removing three key top-order batters for just 31 runs, completely breaking the backbone of Kashmir XI’s innings and halting their momentum at a crucial stage.
Backing them brilliantly was Riyaz, who delivered a superb second spell, applying sustained pressure in the middle overs and ensuring that Kashmir XI could not recover or accelerate freely. Kaustav Das also chipped in with two important wickets, maintaining control with disciplined bowling throughout.
•Chasing 175, Razor Stags began with intent and confidence, keeping the required rate well under control from the start. The batting lineup showed maturity, composure, and smart shot selection under pressure.
Shaharyar Ahmed Jafry led the charge with a stunning 60 off just 31 balls, smashing seven boundaries and two sixes in a fearless display of attacking cricket. He was supported brilliantly by Syed Nabil Hussain, who stayed unbeaten on 51 off 28 balls, anchoring the chase with calm authority and flawless timing.
Adding further momentum was a valuable cameo from Muzammil, whose quick-fire contribution boosted the scoring rate at a crucial stage and helped ensure the chase never slowed down.
Together, the batters formed a strong, match-winning effort that completely outplayed the opposition.

🏏🔥 A League Encounter to Remember 🔥🏏

Razor Stags produced a complete team performance to secure a memorable 24-run victory against Yaran CC in the Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser T20 Tournament.

After an early wicket, Shaharyar Ahmed Jafry and Muzammil Munaf Khatri completely changed the momentum with a brilliant 100-run partnership. Shaharyar played a classy knock of 73 from 43 balls, while Muzammil smashed 63 off just 33 deliveries with fearless stroke play.

Just when the innings needed another boost in the death overs, Nasir Ayub arrived with a destructive cameo of 44 runs from only 20 balls. His aggressive hitting in the final overs pushed Razor Stags to a massive total of 219/7 and provided the perfect finishing touch to the innings.

Defending the target, Captain Mujtaba Nasim Khan gave Razor Stags the perfect start with an early breakthrough. However, Yaran CC rebuilt the innings with a solid partnership and kept themselves in the chase until the arrival of Nasir Ayub.

Nasir completely changed the momentum of the match with a sensational bowling spell, delivering back-to-back overs and dismissing the opposition’s key batters at crucial moments. His spell brought Razor Stags right back into control of the game.

When Yaran CC needed 36 runs in the final 3 overs, Captain Mujtaba Nasim Khan once again stepped up and truly led from the front. Returning for his second spell under immense pressure, he dismissed one of Yaran CC’s century-makers and conceded only 1 run, shifting the game heavily in Razor Stags’ favor. Riyaz Ahmed then bowled a brilliant penultimate over, giving away just 1 run and sealing the momentum completely.

Despite suffering 3 injuries during the match, Razor Stags never allowed their morale to drop. The fighting spirit, teamwork, and determination shown by every player proved too strong as the team held their nerves to secure an unforgettable victory.

مخالف ٹیم نے ٹاس جیت کر فیلڈنگ کا فیصلہ کیا اور ہماری طرف سے اوپننگ جوڑی شہریار اور سلمان کی صورت میں کریز پر موجود تھی سلمان کی صورت میں ٹیم کو پہلا جھٹکا لگا جو 1 رنز بنا کر آؤٹ ہو گئے اور پھر بیٹنگ پر آئے مزمل جنہوں نے شہریار کے ساتھ مل کر 100 رنز سے زائد کی پارٹنرشپ لگائی اور دونوں بلے بازوں نے مخالف ٹیمز کے باؤلر کی دُرگت بنائی اور دونوں بلے بازوں نے شاندار ففٹی سکور کی شہریار کی صورت میں ٹیم کو دوسرا نقصان ہوا جو کہ 73 رنز بنا کر پویلین لوٹ گے اور شہریار کے آؤٹ ہوتے ہی مزمل بھی 63 رنز بنا کر چلتے بنے اس موقع پر مخالف ٹیم ایک دفعہ پھر سے میچ میں واپسی کرنے پر کامیاب ہو گئی اور لگاتار ہماری 4 وکٹ گر گئی اور پھر آئے ہمارے ہارڈ ہٹر بیٹسمین ناصر جنہوں نے اپنی تباہ کُن بیٹنگ سے مخالف ٹیم سے ایک بار پھر میچ اپنی گرفت میں کر لیا ناصر نے 20 بالز کھیل کر 44 رنز کی اننگ کھیلی اور ٹیم کا مجموعہ 219 رنز پہنچا دیا
جواب میں کپتان مجتبیٰ خان نے مخالف ٹیم کے مین بیٹسمین کو آؤٹ کر کے ٹیم کو بڑی کامیابی ضرور دلوائی لیکن مخالف ٹیم کے بلے بازوں کی جارح مزاج بیٹنگ نے اپنی ٹیم کو پھر سے واپسی کروا دی اور پہلے دس اوورز میں ٹیم کا مجموعہ 110 رنز پر پہنچا دیا اور پھر کپتان مجتبیٰ نے دماغ لگایا اور گیند اپنے سب سے بہترین ہتھیار ناصر ایوب کو تھمائی ناصر نے نہ صرف ٹیم کا سکور روکا بلکہ دو سیٹ بیٹسمینوں کی وکٹ بھی لے اُڑے جس سے میچ میں کافی حد تک واپسی ہو گئی تھی لیکن ڈرامہ ابھی باقی تھا اور مخالف ٹیم کے ایک بار پھر شاندار کم بیک کی وجہ سے اب مخالف ٹیم کو جیت کیلئے آخری 3 اوورز میں 36 رنز کی ضرورت تھی اور گیند کپتان مجتبیٰ خان کے ہاتھ میں تھی
مجتبیٰ خان نے اپنے تجربے کا بھرپور استعمال کیا اور اپنی شاندار باؤلنگ سے سیٹ بلے باز کو اوور کی پہلی بال آؤٹ کر دیا نیا آنے والا بیٹسمین بیٹنگ پر آیا تو ضرور لیکن باؤلر اور کیپر ہی پریکٹس کرتے رہے لائن لینگتھ اتنی شاندار تھی کہ بیٹ اور بال کی ملاقات نہ ہو سکی اور صرف 1 رنز پر اوور ختم کیا

Razor Stags’ Valiant Chase Falls Short in a Last-Over Thriller

The Prince Abdulaziz Bin Nasser T20 Tournament 2026 Second Group Stage Match of Razor Stags began with a thrilling and high-scoring encounter between Razor Stags and Cricket AIC. After winning the toss, Razor Stags elected to bowl first, hoping to take advantage of the early conditions. Their bowlers made an excellent start, reducing Cricket AIC to 37/3 during the powerplay and putting the batting side under immediate pressure.

Omer Khatri helped stabilize the innings with a valuable 29-run contribution, but the real momentum came from Mohammad Bilal. Playing one of the most destructive innings of the match, Bilal smashed an unbeaten 66 off just 29 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes, at a strike rate of over 227.

At one stage, Cricket AIC looked set to comfortably cross the 200-run mark due to Bilal’s aggressive hitting.
However, Razor Stags captain Mujtaba Nasim produced a momentum-breaking spell with exceptional death bowling that pulled the game back under control his smart variations and pressure in the closing overs while the crucial wicket of the dangerous Bilal shifted momentum back toward Razor Stags at a key stage of the innings prevented Cricket AIC from going beyond 200.
For Razor Stags, Mujtaba Nasim and Riaz Ahmed were the standout bowlers, both taking 3 wickets and keeping the contest alive until the very end.

Chasing 192 for victory, Razor Stags got off to a confident start. Openers Muzammil M and Shaharyar Ahmed Jafry added quick runs before Javed Ali claimed the first breakthrough, dismissing Shaharyar for 8. Muzammil continued his attacking approach, scoring a rapid 40 off 24 balls and building an important partnership with Syed Nabil Hussain.

Syed Nabil Hussain anchored the innings brilliantly with 59 runs off 36 balls, striking 9 boundaries and keeping Razor Stags firmly in the hunt. He then found strong support from Salman Saleem, who played an outstanding counterattacking knock of 50 from just 30 deliveries, including 6 fours and 1 six.

The match reached a thrilling climax in the death overs. With Salman Saleem departing in the 18th over, the pressure intensified. Mohammad Bilal once again stepped up for Cricket AIC, this time with the ball, taking two crucial wickets in the penultimate over to dent Razor Stags’ hopes.

Despite a courageous effort in the final over, Razor Stags ultimately finished on 189/8, falling agonizingly short by just 2 runs.

Cricket AIC secured a victory in a true last-over thriller, while Razor Stags earned admiration for a spirited chase that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final ball.

**🥇 Jmiaa CC's Innings — 142/9 (20 overs)**
Jmiaa CC put up a competitive total with **Adnan Ali** anchoring brilliantly with 34 off 25 balls, and **Razvi Abdul Muqtader** adding a fiery 33 off just 20 deliveries. However, Razor Stags' bowlers had other ideas! **Kaustav Das** was absolutely sensational — 3 wickets for only 16 runs in 4 overs, single-handedly strangling Jmiaa CC's late charge. It was also a collective bowling effort from **Mujtaba, Muzammil, Nasir and Imran**, who all bowled with great discipline and skill to keep Jmiaa CC well within reach. 💪

**⚡ Razor Stags' Chase — A Rollercoaster Ride!**
Things looked extremely difficult at 38/4 with both openers gone early. But then came **Nasir Ayub Muhammad Ayub Joyia** — playing one of the finest innings of the tournament! 55 runs off just 34 balls, smashing fours and towering sixes, completely turning the game on its head! 🚀

Even as wickets continued to fall, the drama was far from over. With **29 runs still needed and just one wicket in hand**, the last-wicket pair of **Riyaz and Ali** stepped up in the most pressure-filled moment of the match. Showing incredible composure and nerves of steel, they held firm and guided Razor Stags home in the most breathtaking fashion imaginable! 🙌❤️

With unwavering belief and true team spirit, Razor Stags crossed the line in 17.1 overs with just ONE wicket remaining! 🎉
