The Riyadh Rams showcased outstanding game awareness, bowling discipline, and fielding strategy to secure their first 40-overs One Day victory of Season 2025/26, defeating Faisalabad Wolves by 64 runs in the Al Kharj League.
π§ Toss & Batting Effort
Riyadh Rams loss the toss and were put to bat first on a surface & conditions that proved challenging and slow, where run-scoring required patience and smart shot selection. Despite a few early setbacks, the Rams managed to post a very modest and below-par total of 270/9 in 40 overs, knowing the game would be won through ex*****on with the ball and in the field
On debut, π Muhammad Rayan Subhan Ullah displayed remarkable temperament, anchoring the innings with a composed 100 (104 off 89 balls). His ability to rotate strike and pick the right moments to attack was crucial in giving the bowlers something to defend.
In the middle order, seasoned campaigner π Raja Ejaz once again proved his value, batting with experience and composure to register a classy 94 off 80 balls, guiding the innings through a critical phase.
π― Bowling, Fielding & Tactical Masterclass
Defending a below-par total, the Rams delivered a complete team performance built on smart bowling plans, aggressive field placements, and relentless intensity in the field.
πDebutant Muhammad Rayan Subhan Ullah capped off a dream first appearance with a sensational five-wicket haul (5/53), using variation and accuracy to dismantle the Wolvesβ batting lineup.

Shahrayar Raees Malik demonstrated exceptional bowling finesse and control, finishing with 3 wickets for 38 runs, applying constant pressure through tight lines, and timely breakthroughs.
The experienced campaigner Raja Ejaz brought tactical genius in clever field settings and inspired the young Rams camp to deliver under pressure.
Sharp catching and energetic ground fielding ensured no easy runs, as Faisalabad Wolves were bundled out for 206 in just 27.5 overs, well short of the target
