It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Nader, Technical Director of RBL, a former rated Maranao player in Jeddah, the famous legendary three-point shooter, and one of the most respected and beloved figures in Maranao basketball. He passed away tonight.
Barry was more than an exceptional basketball player and leader, he was a brother, a mentor, and an inspiration to many. His passion for the game, dedication to RBL, and unwavering support for our community have left a lasting mark that will never be forgotten.
On behalf of RBL, we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, relatives, friends, teammates, and everyone whose life he touched. We pray that Allah (SWT) grants him Jannatul ferdaus and forgives his shortcomings, and gives strength and patience to his loved ones during this difficult time.
We humbly ask everyone to please include our Brother Barry Nader in your prayers.
