Akazi Kanoze Access Akazi Kanoze Access empowers Rwandan youth with the necessary tools and resources to enter into productive employment.

The Rwandan Youth Work Readiness Curriculum provides youth with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to become healthy, productive workers and participants in civic and community affairs. It is participatory, active, and hands-on so that the youth are actively engaged in the learning process, have the opportunity to practice and enhance new skills and gain the self-confidence necessary

to find and keep work. All AKAZI KANOZE participants receive a modular 100-hour work-readiness training course, which includes modules on personal development; interpersonal communications; work habits and conduct; leadership; safety and health at work; worker and employer rights and responsibilities; financial literacy; and market literacy. AKAZI KANOZE also offers transition to work services encompassing entrepreneurship training and coaching; savings group development; job shadowing, internships, and job placements; public-private partnerships for in-house training and mentorship; and localized market analysis for business startups.
