☯️ Rare photo of Grandmaster Zheng Man Qing (Cheng Man Ching) teaching Qi Gong (Zhong Ding Principle) to his son's ☯️

Rare archival photos and footage of Professor Cheng Man-ch'ing exist, highlighting his dedication to teaching, including his 37-posture Yang-style Tai Chi to his students.

Images of the master show him in various teaching contexts, including the Zhong Ding principle (Central Equilibrium) and Qigong, which he learned from multiple lineages of Alchemy.

Rare Imagery: Sources often cite photos taken by Ken van Sickle, a direct student of Cheng, which are widely considered rare, authentic glimpses into his training in New York.

The "Man of Five Excellences": Cheng was a scholar, poet, painter, doctor, and master of Tai Chi, known for shortening the traditional 108-move Yang form to 37 postures to make it more accessible.

Zhong Ding Principle: Cheng emphasized internal structure and stability (Zhong Ding) as part of his teaching, which was rooted in his earlier training in Yijinjing (tendon changing) and Xianjia Baduanjin.

Images often show the master correcting posture, reflecting his focus on precision and the internal aspects of the form.
