The inaugural Eden Christmas Clash was held on Saturday 20 December, with 23 people taking on the beautiful Rooirivierrif course.
The winners in the adult divisions were Ingo Hilbert in MA1, Daryl Claasen in MA2 and Stephanie Stephen in FA2.
In the junior divisions victory in MJ18 went to Anthony Yssel and in FJ10 the winner was Lana Jonker.

Just 2 weeks ago the Rwanda course went in the ground!

What a Year 2025 had been!!

Thank you to the Paul McBeth Foundation for all the hard work bringing the sport across the globe!

What a year to look back on! We have installed four brand new courses around the world giving more access to disc golf. But it hasn’t stopped there. Through events, clinics, and the African Disc Golf Summit, even more people are experiencing disc golf in a whole new way! Thank you for your support of this movement!

Uplay Disc Golf is a huge reason that the sport is taking off so fast on this continent! Their instructional classes and time spent teaching across the different countries and at the Africa Disc Golf Summit has been invaluable in this growth here in Africa! The 2025 Gauteng Open was held at Inanda Country Base in Midrand, South Africa on 29 November 2025. The PDGA C-tier event was won by Mark Schroeder ( #226899) in the MA1 division and Hannah Meyer- Watts ( #310138) in FA1. Hello everyone! Thor Wallgren here, this is my sign-off letter. :-)
I am happy and proud that I have contributed to the Rwanda success by creating the Disc Golf Rwanda group many years ago and collected almost 700 members there.
I am also happy and proud to have contributed to the creation of ADGU and the early talks we had here.
The work in Disc Golf Sao Tomé just could not go the way I wanted, so I had to give it up after 6 years. Now I am in Paraguay to help the growth of disc golf in South America (article from Asuncion Times in the first comment).
I want to wish you all good luck with the dg work in Africa and one day some of us will meet on a course, somewhere in the world.
