FK Luch Vladivostok is a russian football club based in Vladivostok, Far East Russia, and was founded as FK Vladivostok in 2nd of May 1952, although the most publicized founding year is 1958 because that year was when FK Vladivostok began competing. Known as "Luch", has been playing in the Soviet Union championship since 1958. The club played in the Far East regional tournament of "B-class" team

s and eventually won it in 1965, earning promotion to "A-class". Luch played in this regional tournament until league reorganization in 1972. From 1972 to 1991, Luch played in the Eastern zone of Soviet Second League. The club's best result was a runner-up position in 1984. In 1992, after the dissolution of Soviet Union, Luch was entitled to play in the Eastern zone of Russian First League and won that tournament. Luch played in Russian Top League in 1993 and was relegated, having finished 15th. Luch played in Russian First Division from 1994 until relegation in 1997, and in Russian Second Division from 1998 to 2003. In 2003, Luch finished 1st in the Eastern zone and earned promotion. The club spent another 2 years in First Division, earning promotion to Premier League in 2005. In 2008 Luch finished in the last position and was relegated to the Russian First Division.The club had some financial problems and were forced to sell some of their key players making the club vulnerable at home, formerly considered a fortress on the remote Pacific coast. By the way, the club was called Luch before 2003, when it was renamed Luch-Energiya due to sponsorship from Dalenergo, an energy distribution company. In 2019/2020, the club recovered its inicial name, Luch.

Most of you might be asking what significance this badge has, and why is it published here.

According to "last news" and unlike what was predicted months ago, Luch never were capable to register a team in the lower championships. In fact, the club went bankrupt and without possibilities of starting over, at least for now.

This is where this badge comes. It belongs to the new club, reactivated recently: Dynamo Vladivostok.
This club was founded around 1944, and during its course won 7 times the championship of the Primorsky Territory, and 9 times the Primorsky Territory Cup, championships were Luch also participated after being founded.
This club had its last appearance around 1968, aparently, and was disabled....until this year of 2021.

Dynamo managed to obtain a professional license to play in the third tier of the russian football (Second Division FNL). Will play on the group 3 and, on the first 3 official games of this season, got 3 victories: the first, against Shakalin (0-2) for the first round of Russian Cup; the second, against the reserve team of Fakel (0-6), for the Championship of Second Division; and the third victory (2-1), against Chertanovo, for the second round of Russian Cup.

This team, aparently will perform its home games in Dynamo Stadium, former Luch's home, its colors are blue and white, and has in its squad some former Luch players, like Setrak Akopyan, Ruslan Gordienko, Maksim Nasadyuk, Nikita Belunov, Dmitri Kalugin and Aleksandr Vasiljev.

By decision of the Ministry of Sports of Primorye, in order to save budget to the reserve fund of Primorye for measures to combat the spread of coronavirus, Luch and other clubs from the region lost their professional status.

In case of Luch, this means that, for this next season 2020/21, Luch will play in 3rd Division (Amateur League, 4th tier of russian football).

Luch executive director, Evgeny Strizhechenko, confirmed that Luch will have a team in the amateur third league, next year: “Next year Luch will play in the third division. Whether Luch will be able to return to the professional status in a year, will depend on the financial situation."

Let's hope that this could mean something good for the financial stability of the club, in order to gain conditions to achieve greater goals, in the future.

At this moment, Luch already ended its training camp in Antalya, Turkey. It lasted almost 3 weeks, from 9th January until last sunday, 28th January, and was lead by our new head coach Aleksandr Grigoryan (a return to Vladivostok, after spending 1 year and half with Luch, from June 2013 to December 2014).

During this training camp, the squad had two daily sessions, and hold 4 games, the first (January 15th), against Zhetysu from Kazakhstan, the second (January 18th) against Viitorul Constanta from Romania, the third (January 22nd) against Atyrau from Kazakhstan and the last game (January 26th) against Sileks from FYR Macedonia.
Soon, i'll post all videos referent to these games.

After this training camp, squad will have a 5 days rest, before returning to Cyprus, to participate in FNL Cup.

Before the 1/4 finals of russian cup, where Luch will play against Tosno, at February 28th, the team will participate in FNL Cup, which will be held in Paphos, Cyprus, from 10th to 23rd February.

Luch is included in Group B, with Tambov, Mordovia Saransk (1st placed of Ural Zone - Second Division) and Chertanovo Moscow (1st placed of West Zone - Second Division).

Full time | What a way to end 2017!

In a game played in Khimki, Luch repeated what happened last Saturday in St. Petersburg, but this time for its own gain. Tigers went to the break with a disadvantage of 2 goals, but managed to turn arround the result, scoring 4 goals in second half, 3 of them in 13 minutes.

With this score, Luch jumps out of relegation zone, provisionaly, to the 14th place.
