Well, I finally managed to surprise you.
And today, I’d like to share a quick and useful exercise for your single Axel using handstands—why is it necessary?
▫️Correct jump tempo—this exercise helps you jump the Axel without shifting on your left foot or interrupting the backswing.
▫️Torse control—when transitioning to your left foot, it’s important to hold your right shoulder blade back for a split second.
▫️No falling out of the circle—if you move your right shoulder forward, your torso will fall out of the circle.
▫️Floor practice—a simple sequence accessible to any level.
▫️Handstands → Axel—do 3-4 handstands, then add a single or double Axel.
This exercise is suitable for all skaters: from junior level to masters of sport working on their triple axel.
Have a nice day, hugs everyone.🫂
