Water polo club "Synthesis" was founded in 1974.During the period of participation in the Championship team of the RSFSR "Synthesis" three times won the title of Champion of the RSFSR in water polo. In the top league of the Championship of Russia in water polo team "Sintez" began performing in 1993. The team "Sintez" Cup Holder "Len Trophy" (2007). Winner of the title of Champion of Russia (2007).

Twice winner of the Cup of Russia (2005.2010). Water polo club "Sintez" and youth team "Sintez-Academy" are the only team in the Championship of Russia, representing the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan
