Bahrain’s medals in KIHL finals 🥉🇧🇭

The Bahrain men’s national ice hockey team won bronze medals in the final match of the Kuwait Hockey League. In a bright match, they beat the Mossad team (10:7). The third division tournament in Group B of the IIHF World Championship starts today in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The matches will be held from February 24 to 29 and will be attended by the national teams of Hong Kong, Iran, North Korea, the Philippines, Singapore and the hosts of the tournament

The Iranian national team will fight for promotion, as the winner of the tournament will advance to group A of the third division

Oman at the International Tournament in Bahrain 🇴🇲🇧🇭

The Oman Women’s ice hockey team finished in fifth place at the first international amateur women’s tournament held in Manama. The Muscat team last participated in an international event in Al Ain in September 2022

Muscat represented the OSSC and won two matches on Day 1 of the tournament, but lost all three games on Day 2, finishing with three points and fifth place. Saudi Wings finished last with a sum of zero wins and five losses

The winners of the two-day tournament were the Al-Dhabi team from the United Arab Emirates, who won all five games in the round-robin format. Kuwait’s Blue Waves finished second, and Bahrain’s women’s team finished third

A total of six teams from around the world participated in the competition. In addition to the teams from Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, the amateur team from Russia, the Russian Panthers, which we previously mentioned, was also represented at the event

One year later: Turkmenistan at the World Cup 2023 🇹🇲

We continue to tell how the ADIHIC countries performed at the most important tournaments for themselves in last year. Turkmenistan national ice hockey team finished the World Championship in the third division of group “A” with gaining the silver medals

The final match ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the Taiwan team. The only goal of the Turkmen athletes in the opponent’s goal was scored by Rahman Muradov, who realized the transfer of Begench Dovletmuradov. Thus, according to the results of the final match, the Taiwan team got into the second division of group “B”

Turkmenistan was in second place at the 2023 World Cup in Cape Town in terms of the number of points, as well as the difference in the number of goals scored and conceded. South Africa and Thailand took the third and fourth places with the same number of points, respectively. Turkmen hockey players turned out to be higher than their rivals due to the better difference between goals scored and conceded. Luxembourg retained fifth place with zero points
