🇷🇴 2002- Carpathian Adventure ediția a II-a

Localizare: munții Călimani și Gurghiului, lacul Colibița
Numărul de participanți s-a dublat în cea de-a doua ediție: au concurat optsprezece echipe locale și o echipă din Budapesta.
Prima probă a fost construirea plutei și canotajul de 5 km pe lacul Colibița. Aceasta a fost urmată de o drumeție de aproape 60 km la înălțime, care a fost cea mai mare provocare: noaptea, cu ploi abundente, concurenții au trebuit să facă față obstacolelor naturale din creasta montană înaltă de 1800 - 2100 m. Secțiunea cu biciclete montane dintre Stânceni și Sovata, care trece prin Munții Gurghiului, s-a dovedit, de asemenea, un test dur.

Anul 2002 a fost, unul special în viața competiției de aventură, deoarece anul 2002 a fost declarat Anul Internațional al Ecoturismului de către Națiunile Unite. Concursul Carpathian Adventure s-a născut în spiritul ecoturismului și așa funcționează și astăzi.

Helyszín: Kelemen - és Görgényi-havasok, Kolibica-tó
A második kiadáson megduplázódott a résztvevők száma: tizennyolc hazai és egy budapesti csapat versenyzett.
Az első próba a tutajépítés és az 5 km-es evezés volt a Kolibica-tavon. Ezután következett a közel 60 km-es magashegyi túra, mely a legnagyobb kihívást jelentette: éjjel, zuhogó esőben kellett megküzdeniük a versenyzőknek az 1800 - 2100 m magas hegygerinc természetes akadályaival. A Görgényi-havasokon át vezető Gödemesterháza - Szováta közötti hegyikerékpáros szakasz is kemény próbának bizonyult.
A 2002-es év a kalandverseny életében azért is különleges még, mert ezt az évet az ENSZ az ökoturizmus nemzetközi évének nyilvánította. A Kárpáti Kalandverseny az ökoturizmus szellemében született és működik a mai napig is.

🇬🇧2002 - Carpathian Adventure 2nd edition
Location: Călimani and Gurghiu Mountains, Colibița Lake
In the second edition,the number of participants doubled: eighteen local and one team from Budapest competed.
The first challenge was the raft building, then rowing 5 km on Colibița Lake. This was followed by a nearly 60 km high-altitude hike, which was the biggest challenge: at night, in heavy rain, the riders had to deal with the natural obstacles of the 1800 - 2100 m high mountain ridge. The mountain bike section between Stânceni and Sovata, which leads through the Gurghiu Mountains, also proved to be a tough test.
The year 2002 was also special in the life of the adventure competition, because this year has been declared the International Year of Ecotourism by the United Nations. The Carpathian Adventure Competition was born in the spirit of ecotourism and so it still works today.

✅are un membru priceput la orientare
✅are un membru care ține echipa adunată din punct de vedere psihic
✅putere fizică și anduranță
✅deciziile se iau de comun acord
✅echipa are membri atât femei cât și bărbați

‼️IMPORTANT: în timpul competiției echipele trebuie să funcționeze ca unități responsabile, atât pentru o bună funcționare cât și pentru siguranța membrilor.

🇷🇴 ⚠️Măsuri de siguranță!

Pentru a putea face față diferitelor fenomene neprevăzute incluzând accidente, răniri, Covid-19 și alte situații din viața reală, care ar putea avea loc în timpul activităților noastre în aer liber, Outward Bound Romania investește în educarea personalului său. Credem cu adevărat că învățarea experiențială în natură fără siguranță strictă este doar un joc de noroc.
Ca participant, poți contribui și tu la siguranța celor din jurul tău! Vrei să afli cum?

Pentru a susține un mediu sănătos pentru participanții și programele noastre, am decis să optimizăm măsurile de siguranță. Ca parte a acestor măsuri de siguranță, începând cu luna iunie, vom solicita de la fiecare persoană de peste 18 ani (personal, instructori, personal însoțitor, participanți) următoarele:

✅adeverință medicală cu privire la vindecare din COVID-19 cu cel mult 3 luni înainte de program ori
✅dovadă de vaccin anti COVID-19 (prima sau a doua doză) ori
✅ pentru care nu sunt vaccinați: test negativ (test rapid sau PCR) făcut cu cel mult 72 de ore înainte de program sau înainte de sosire completează și semnează o declarație pe proprie răspundere

A Outward Bound Romania különös hangsúlyt fektet arra, hogy személyzetét felkészítse, hogy szembenézzen mindenféle előre nem látható jelenséggel: balesetek, sérülések, Covid és mindenféle valós élethelyzet, amelyek a szabadban történhetnek. Valóban hisszük, hogy az élményalapú oktatás szigorú biztonság nélkül csak egy hazárdjáték. Mint résztvevő, mindnyájunk biztonságához Te is hozzájárulhatsz! Szeretnéd megtudni, hogyan?

Résztvevőink és programjaink egészséges környezetének biztosítása és fenntartása érdekében úgy döntöttünk, hogy optimalizáljuk biztonsági intézkedéseinket. Ennek keretében folyó év júniusától egymás iránti felelősség vállalásunk részeként kérjük minden 18 év fölötti személytől (személyzet, oktatók, kísérő személyzet, résztvevők), hogy:

✅hivatalos dokumentációval igazolják, hogy a program előtt 3 hónapnál nem régebben átestek a Covid-on vagy
✅bizonyítani tudják, hogy oltakoztak (első vagy második adag) vagy
✅akik nincsenek beoltva: igazolják, hogy legfeljebb 72 órával a program előtt elvégzett tesztjük negatív, és ezt hivatalos dokumentum (gyorsteszt vagy PCR) támasztja alá vagy érkezés előtt egy egyéni felelősségvállalási nyilatkozatot töltenek ki és írnak alá

🇬🇧 ⚠️Safety measures!

Outward Bound Romania invests in educating its staff to face all sorts of unforeseen phenomena: accidents, injuries, Covid19 and all sorts of real-life situations, that could happen outdoors. We truly believe that outdoor experiential education without strict safety is just gambling. You as a participant can contribute to a safe program too! Do you want to find out how?

In order to sustain a healthy environment for our participants & programs, we have decided to optimise our safety measures. As part of these safety measures from 1st of June on we will require from every person aged 18+ (staff, trainers, accompanying personnel, participants):

✅to prove with official documentation that they had Covid19 not longer than 3 months before the program or
✅to prove that they have been vaccinated (with first or second dose) or
✅for those who can not or will not be vaccinated: to prove that they had a negative test backed by an official document (quick test or PCR) not longer than 72 hours before the program or before arrival they fill and sign a waiver

🇷🇴 2001 - Prima ediție 👍

Deși vroiam să dăm startul concursului Carpathian Adventure încă din 2000, totuși lansarea a avut loc în cele din urmă în 2001 - echipele compuse din patru membri au parcurs atunci o distanță de aproape 200 de kilometri cu bicicleta, pe jos și cu pluta în competiția de 72 de ore.

Vajda György și Horváth-Kovács Ádám au fost cei care s-au gândit atunci, în biroul Societății pentru Tineret Outward Bound Romania, că lanțul muntos al Carpaților ar fi potrivit pentru organizarea unui concurs similar cu cel mediatizat de Discovery Channel, din Noua Zeelandă (Eco Challenge). Li s-a alăturat organizația Perpetuum Mobile, al cărui președinte, Székely “Indián” László (directorul tehnic al concursului), cunoscător al munților, s-a oferit să elaboreze traseele.

Primul concurs s-a desfășurat în Munții Hășmașu Mare, Lacul Roșu și împrejurimile lui și în zona Lacului Bicaz. Atunci am avut 10 echipe, probele au fost următoarele: rafting, bicicletă, canyoning, rapel și tură pedestră.

Habár a Kárpáti Kalandversenyt már 2000-ben el akartuk indítani, az első kiadásra végül 2001-ben került sor – akkor a 72 órás megmérettetésen kerékpárral, gyalog és tutajjal tették meg a csaknem 200 kilométeres távot a négytagú csapatok.

Az Outward Bound Társaság az Ifjúságért szervezet főtéri irodájában találta ki Vajda György és Horváth Kovács Ádám, hogy a Kárpátok hegyláncai is alkalmasak arra, hogy a Discovery Channel adó által is felkarolt új-zélandi túlélőversenyhez hasonlót szervezzenek (Eco Challenge). A kezdeményezés mellé állt az Örökmozgó Természetjáró Egyesület is, amelynek elnöke, Székely “Indián” László (a verseny technikai igazgatója), a hegyek kiváló ismerője vállalkozott arra, hogy kidolgozza az útvonalakat.

Az első verseny a Nagy- Hagymás-hegység, Gyilkos-tó és környéke, illetve a Békási-tó területén zajlott, erre 10 csapat nevezett be, a próbák pedig ebben a sorrendben a következők voltak: tutaj, bicikli, canyonjárás, rappel, gyalogtúra.

🇬🇧 2001 - The First Edition

Although we wanted to start the Carpathian Adventure already back in 2000, the first edition was organized in 2001. The four-member teams covered the nearly 200-kilometers distance by bicycle, on foot and by raft in the 72 hour long competition.

In the main office of the Outward Bound Society for Youth organization, György Vajda and Ádám Horváth-Kovács invented the Carpathian Adventure.They realized that the mountain ranges of the Carpathians are excellent for organizing an event similar to Eco Challenge of New Zealand, a survival competition embraced by the Discovery Channel tax. The initiative was also supported by the Perpetuum Mobile Association, whose president, László “Indián” Székely (technical director of the competition), an excellent connoisseur of the mountains, undertook to develop the routes.

10 teams signed up for the first competition, and the first track was: Hășmașu Mare Mountains - Red Lake and its surroundings, - Bicaz Lake.
Challenges of the first Carpathian Adventure were, in this order: rafting, biking, canyoning, abseiling, hiking
