We’re both proud and humbled to share the current numbers for our upcoming Buhurt International World Championships in Visegrád 🇭🇺

🔥 Over 720 registered participants
🌍 31 countries represented, with 27 National Organizations
📣 Plus 100 of event staff, supporters, and volunteers from all over the world!

Thanks to the passion and dedication of this incredible community, we are on track to host one of the largest buhurt events in history. This is not just a tournament - it’s proof of what we can build when we come together, support each other, and believe in the future of this sport.

Team Categories:
• 33 Men’s 5v5
• 9 Women’s 5v5
• 15 Men’s 12s
• 6 Women’s 12s
• 10 Men’s 30s

Duel Categories:
• Longsword: 18 men / 10 women
• Sword and shield: 19 men / 10 women
• Buckler: 15 men / 8 women
• Polearm: 17 men / 3 women

Outrance:
• 50 men
• 18 women

None of this would be possible without the effort of every fighter, team leader, volunteer, organizer, and supporter who kept pushing forward. Together, we didn’t just keep the sport alive - we made it grow.
