The Hot Air Balloon Parade from Câmpu Cetătii is the first and unique event of this kind in Romania. The festival is organized by the Nyárádballoon Sky Team Sport Association – Eremitu with the collaboration of the Mureş County council and Local council Eremitu. The festival and the idea of this kind of festival was the consequence of a conversation between three friends and its objective is to pr
esent this kind of sport/hobby, unfortunately it isn’t a common one in Romania. At the moment in Romania there are 8-10 hot air balloons, the majority in Bucharest, these balloons participate on different socio- cultural events in the country. The event from Câmpu Cetătii helps these teams to meet other teams from other countries to change experiences. From the year 2006 , when there were 3 teams and a few hundreds of viewers, in the last years we had 18-20 balloons (or even more!) from 5-6 other countries and around 20-25.000 visitors. In 2016 there was 23 hot air balloons from many countries. Visitors are from the neighboring counties and the area. There are some people who plan their holiday to participate on this unique festival, there are many reservations for accommodation and flight, too. A vármezei Hőlégballon Parádé az első ilyen jellegű rendezvény Romániában. A fesztivált a nyárádremetei Nyárádballoon Sky Team sport egyesület szervezi a Megyei Tanács és a nyárádremetei Helyi Tanács segítségével. A Hőlégballon Parádé és a rendezvény ötlete egy baráti beszélgetés eredményeként született és célja a hőlégballonozás, eme kevésbé ismert sport/hobby megismertetése a környéken. Pillanatnyilag Romániában nagyjából 8-10 hőlégballon létezik, többségük Bukarestben, amelyek különböző szocio-kulturális eseményeken vesznek részt országszerte. A vármezei rendezvény lehetőséget nyújt a belföldről és külföldről érkezett csapatok talalkozására, új csapatok megismerésére, ötletszerű beszélgetésekre és tapasztalatcserére.
2016-ban a Hőlégballon Parádé tizeneggyedik alkalommal került megrendezésre. 2006-tól kezdődően, amikor 3 csapat vett részt és alig párszáz kiváncsiskodó látogatott ki, a rendezvény egyre nagyobbá nőtt, az utóbbi években több mint 6 ország 18-20 (vagy még több!) hőlégballonja vett részt és 20-25.000 érdeklődő látogatott ki a fesztiválra.
2016-ban 23 hőlégballon vett részt, melyek Európa több országából érkeztek. Az idelátogatók nagyjából a szomszédos megyékből érkeznek vagy környékbeliek. De vannak érdeklődők az ország más sarkaiból vagy éppen külföldiek is, akik úgy tervezik szabadságaikat, hogy részt tudjanak venni ezen az egyedülálló eseményen, rengeteg bejelentkezés van repülésre már hónapokkal a rendezvény előtt.
2017-ben a vármezei Hőlégballon Parádé Szeptember 22-24 között kerül megszervezésre. Parada Baloanelor cu Aer Cald, primul eveniment de acest gen din România, ȋn 2016 a ajuns la a XI-a ediţie. Menţionat de un cotidian ca şi “couleur locale”, festivalul este organizat de Asociaţia Sportivă Nyárádballoon Sky Team ȋn colaborare cu Consiliul Judeţean Mureş şi Consiliul Local Eremitu. Festivalul şi ideea acestui festival a fost o urmare a discuţiei dintre trei prieteni şi are ca scop prezentarea acestui sport/hobby, din păcate destul de puţin cunoscut ȋn România. Momentan ȋn România sunt aproximativ 8-10 baloane cu aer cald, majoritatea ȋn Bucureşti, aceste baloane luând parte la diferite evenimente socio-culturale din ţară. Evenimentul de la Câmpu Cetăţii ajută aceste echipaje să se ȋntâlnească cu alte echipaje din străinătate şi totodată dă ocazia unui schimb de experienţe.
Începând cu anul 2006, când au fost prezente 3 echipaje şi câteva sute de privitori, am ajuns ca ȋn anii trecuţi să avem 18-20 (sau chiar mai multe!) baloane din 5-6 ţări şi ȋn jur de 20-25.000 de vizitatori, dovada fiind rândul de maşini de câţiva kilometri şi blocajele de pe drumul judeţean ce leagă Câmpu Cetăţii de Târgu Mureş şi Sovata.
În 2016 au participat 23 baloane din mai multe ţări.
În ceea ce priveşte vizitatorii, majoritatea sunt din zonă şi din judeţele vecine. În fiecare an sunt rezervări la cazare şi la zbor de pe tot cuprinsul României şi din străinătate, persoane care şi-au planificat concediile astfel ȋncât să poate participa la acest eveniment unic.
