Five days at RAMS MX Summer Camp reminded me that sometimes the best way to become a better rider is to become a student again.

Well… I made it! 😄

The hardest section was exactly where I thought it would be.

I had a few crashes, got stuck a couple of times…

I’m used to picking up my motocross bike, but lifting a 200+ kg adventure bike on a steep rocky climb was a completely different challenge.

Now I’m just hoping the bike isn’t too badly damaged. 😅

Unfortunately, I’ll miss the next round because it clashes with my Romanian Endurance Series race. Romanian Endurance Series

CFMOTO Challenge – Stage 2 at Cheile Grădiștei.

I’m the youngest rider on the grid, so yes… there’s a bit of pressure.

But that’s also why I’m here.

Every rider around me has something I can learn from.

Before the start, there’s already one section on the course that’s on my mind.

Let’s see what happens after the finish…

Sometimes adventure isn’t about speed.

Sometimes it’s about picking up a motorcycle that’s almost too heavy for you… and continuing anyway.

40 km of Hard Adventure.
Steep climbs.
Rocky trails.
A few crashes.
A lot of pushing.

It wasn’t the result I came for.

It was the lesson.

Crossing the finish line was enough to call it a good day.

500 km sounds like a race.

But what I will remember most are the people.

The conversations between stints.
The waiting.
The planning.
The laughs.
The moments when everyone is tired but nobody wants the race to end.

That is what I enjoy most about endurance racing.

The driving is only part of the story.
