International Doce Pares Eskrima Seminar & Exams 2022 - Hungary, Debrecen

What will we learn in this seminar?
There are always more weapons at the seminars, but now there will be even more!
Espada y Daga: Fighting combinations in shorter and longer executions, and the use of a special footwork in Palakaw (free) practice. I only teach this at master level!
Knife vs Knife: We will learn a less frequently used drill and then supplement this with disarms, takedowns and disarm defenses. We then use these in complex combat drills!
Double stick: We will warm up with flowing sequences, then learn double stick disarms. Then we'll supplement with the special footwork we learned in the Espada y Daga section!
Stick vs stick: Now we will take attack combinations and disarms from an on-guard position. Then we'll use what we learned in Controll Sparring free combat!
Empty Hand vs Knife: We will take knife supla drills and then combine them with disarms, disarm defenses and stretches.
Empty Hand vs Empty Hand: We learn combat punch-kick combinations first, then various defensive methods against these, supplemented with Sabayan (simultaneous attack-defend techniques). Finally, we apply what we have learnt in sparring fights.
For those who have gloves, bring gloves and tooth protector!
Group break-up:
Are you a beginner or advanced? It doesn't matter! You're guaranteed to learn and improve a lot at the seminar! We'll practice in beginner and advanced groups so that everyone can progress according to their level:
Beginner group: Recommended for Eskimadors without a belt, or with lemon/orange/green belt. The goal is not to see as much as possible, but to learn as much as possible! Therefore, I will teach a little slower but much more thoroughly in this group.
Advance group: We will dictate a faster pace, as you already know the basics really well and can skillfully follow more complex techniques.
