Meet 𝗠𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝘆 one of our 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗷 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 ambassadors.

As a Software Engineering Team Leader in Aviation, Mihaita spends his days helping teams navigate complex challenges and build great products.

Away from work, he channels that same mindset into ultrarunning, taking on long distances, mountain trails, and adventures that test both body and mind.
His story is a reminder that progress comes from consistency, perseverance, and being willing to take the next step, even when the finish line feels far away.

𝗜𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮 is 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿 for 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗷 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻

At Garmin Cluj, Iulian Corunga leads the Product Design team, helping create experiences that put people at the center of every decision.

The same people-first mindset can be seen in one of his greatest passions: running. Through the running club Runners Cluj and community he has built over the years, Iulian has helped bring together runners of all experience levels, creating a place where encouragement, support, and shared experiences matter just as much as the kilometers.

Many of us know him as the person who makes it easier to take that first step, and who reminds us that running is not just about performance, but also about connection, consistency, and enjoying the journey.

This October, he'll bring that same energy to Cluj Connect Run, helping more people discover what makes running communities so special.
