Seria Meet the Team continuă cu încă un chilian. Faceți cunoștință cu Salvi 💚🇨🇱
At 21, Salvi has already found what makes him feel alive. Like his good friend, Lucas, he graduated from Universidad de la Frontera with a degree in Adventure Tourism, specializing in white water kayaking and rafting.
When he's not on the river, you'll probably find him playing football, basketball, climbing, downhill biking, boxing or trying another adrenaline-filled sport. Surprisingly, after all these years, the only bone he's ever broken is the little finger on his left hand.
One emotional moment he'll never forget is when he rescued a 75-year-old man after his kayak flipped in powerful whitewater. It wasn't his client, but moments like that remind him that being a guide is about far more than paddling.
Here in Romania, he loves how technical Buzău river is and the precision & anticipation it demands. But there is one thing that bothers him: the fact we depend on the schedule of water release from the dam. Trust us, we feel the same.
Away from the river, Salvi enjoys woodworking, cooking and discovering new food. Back home, his comfort food is a completo—Chile's famous heavily loaded hot dog, while in Romania he proudly claims that shaorma is his favorite "Romanian" dish. We'll forgive him for that. 😄
His guilty pleasure is sleeping until after noon... although he'd always trade sleep for few hours on the river.
Looking into the future, he wants to become a trainer and inspire children to discover the same love for rivers, nature and outdoor adventures that shaped his own life.
