Mai mult decat o disciplina olimpica, acest stil de lupta este pe cat de vechi pe atat de avansat in ceea ce priveste tehnica si metodologia de lupta. Este un stil complet si complex in acelasi timp, in Pangration existand chiar si o parte de pregatire speciala in care luptatorii fac exercitii de concentrare si meditatie. Sport Olimpic incepand cu anul 648 i.e.n pentru peste 1000 de ani, Pangration este de fapt MMA-ul prezent ( Mixed Martial Arts ). Astazi Federatia Mondiala de Pangration Athlima ( W.P.A.F ) doreste sa faca cunoscuta istoria acestui sport dar si redobandirea statutului de Sport Olimpic.
