Acest eveniment face parte din categoria competitiilor de turism montan ce se desfăşoară pe durata unei zile şi care presupune parcurgerea in echipa mixta de 3-5 persoane a mai multor probe sportive precum trekking, orientare sportiva, alpinism, cros montan, a unor probe teoretice dar și mult-așteptata probă cultural-artistică.
