We look forward to the return of our kids to the Academy after the summer break.

The Football Fiesta 2018

We held our season closing football fiesta for our academy kids on Friday, 11 May 2018 at The Gems American Academy, Al Wakra.

The Chief Guest of the day was H.E. A.S.P. Liyanage, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Qatar.

The event included a tournament style matches among the academy kids. The parents had the opportunity to play in the Veterans Game. The highlight of the day was the exhibition game played between the Sri Lankan Community Team vs. the Everocks Football Club. A big crowd of football fans enjoyed the entire fiesta with a lot of cheering.

The kids were accolade with medals and certificates at the end of the event. The Sri Lankan Community Team was felicitated by the Asian Football Academy for its continued display at the Asian Communities Football Tournament and reaching the Quarter Finals and Semi Finals in the last two years. The Everocks Football Club was also felicitated for their participation.

The Academy looks forward to continue its successful ways in achieving its vision of producing excellence in sports through discipline and dedicated coaching.

The audience included the parents and families of the academy kids, Sri Lankan Community leaders, invited guests, and many more football fans.
