The past days reminded me how human we all are.
When the recent events in the World unfolded, I have to admit — at first I was petrified. For a few days my nervous system was in fear and uncertainty, and my mind was racing with questions and scenarios.
Instead of forcing myself to “be strong,” I chose compassion. I slowed down, gave myself space, listened to my intuition, and slowly began to come back to myself.
Because resilience is not about pretending everything is fine.
It is about allowing ourselves to feel, to process, and then gently rising again.
If you are feeling fear, uncertainty, confusion or overwhelm, know that it is okay. Take the time you need, follow your heart and intuition, and do what feels right for you and your family.
And if you need support, ask for it.
I also want to say that I am forever grateful to Qatar — a country that has given us safety, stability and a sense of home for many years.
Qatar in our hearts, forever 🇶🇦✨
