Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation (QSRF) was formed in May 2003. QSRF receives an annual grant from the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).

The main aim of the Federation is to ensure the implementation of the Olympic Charter and promotion of the sport of Sailing, Rowing, Canoeing, Kayaking and Kiteboarding in the State of Qatar. QOC is also responsible for providing funds for training of all athletes and the expenses of participating of the Qatar National Team at National and International Level. QSRF is controlled by an Executive Co

mmittee of which Mr. Khalifa Mohd Al Sewaidi is the president. QSRF conducts all its activities from Doha Sailing Club. The Federation has all facilities for sailing and rowing as well as coaching with various types of boats. We organize regular National & International Events. Sail the Gulf, Sail Qatar, Qatar Optimist Cup and Match Racing are three major events which are conducted every year and attended with great enthusiasm by all International Sailors. In addition, occasionally we World level events in sailing.
