This post is NOT about pity ❌
It’s about LOVE ❤️🔥
It’s about doing your part and letting life do his.
6 years ago I was going through the toughest phase of my life, I was about to letting go my daughter go back to Portugal. Not because I wished, not because I wanted but bcz I knew it was the best decision.
In 3 months like many people worldwide I had no job, I had no money, since I was the main source of income for my family, my health wasn’t the best, suffering still from my back issues I had lost my sponsor and the opportunity to sponsor my daughter BUT I had one thing, just one thing that kept me going FAITH.
I only had that. Everyone else was against me. Everyone told me I was a selfish mother, what kind of mother let her daughter go back home and she stays. That money is not everything in life.
I let them talk. My family. Most of people was against me. Except God. I knew deep down what I was doing. I had FAITH. I kept working. I kept having one session after another session. One client after another client. I didn’t live, I survived during 4 years. I started feeling better after. Less guilty , more health, more freedom, more work, more business. 🙏
What I’m trying to say? Whenever you see someone doing well, be sure there is a LOT of struggle , a lot of sleepless nights , a lot of heavy nights, crying on the pillow, doubting herself even tough she knows, but sometimes she doesn’t.
When you do your part, when you keep working on yourself, leave for God what belongs to him, which is the TIME, keep learning, keep improving yourself, keep investing on yourself, you will be rewarded.
Today I remember the heaviness I felt when I drove my daughter to the airport. Today, 6 years after. I honor my story and I’m very proud of not following what other people thought was best for me.
Be you. Do you. Follow your heart.
God will be with you if you trust him and you do it from the right intentions 💙
6 years. Building my own business. Having the best daughter I could ask for. Having the best relationship with my Mom. Having loving friends. Love in the heart. Health. Safety. Faith. 🙏
If you’re going through a tough time, it will pass. Hang on 🙏
