A huge congratulations to Onslaught Racing Dragons Qatar for your outstanding achievement at the 2026 Sun Life International Dragon Boat Festival, earning a place in the Semi-Finals of not just one, but two highly competitive categories —the International Open Championship and the International Mixed Championship.
As one of Doha's premier dragon boat teams, this achievement reflects the passion, discipline, and determination that have become the hallmark of Onslaught. Under the dedicated leadership of Coach Alexander Eroa Tubar and President Ben Gaskell, together with the invaluable contributions of the team's officers, Mr. Nazar Salim N Salim and Mr. Jeffrey JR Montierro Tacuban, the organization continues to thrive through strong leadership, unity, and a shared commitment to excellence, proudly representing Doha on the international stage.
Competing against some of the strongest dragon boat teams in Hong Kong is already a privilege. Qualifying for the semi-finals among these elite crews is an even greater accomplishment and a testament to the countless hours of training, teamwork, and perseverance that each paddler has invested.
While the journey may not have ended with a Grand Championship title, this achievement is something to celebrate. Reaching the semi-finals of such a prestigious international event is a winning feeling in itself. It's about pushing limits, embracing the challenge, enjoying every race, and proving that Onslaught belongs among the best.
A special acknowledgment also goes to BrixBasty Jhune a.k.a Cezar Habitan and Renchel Serisola, whose unwavering support behind the scenes has played an important role in the team's success.
