Casa Ericalena is a beautiful Period Portuguese Villa situated in Vila Nova de Cacela. There are two bedrooms downstairs with twin beds both of which have their own ensuite bathrooms. The rooms have very high ceilings which keeps them cool in the heat of the Summer. You are within easy walking distance of the centre of the quiet town of Vila Nova de Cacela with supermarkets, some excellent restaurants, bars, cafés and shops as well as two banks, a pharmacy, taxi rank and a local market. You can also walk down to the beach at Manta Rota which will take about 20 minutes. The beach is amazing and one of the best in Europe. In high season there are plenty of beach activities going on to keep you and the kids entertained. There is an amazing public Pool PuroBranco located down by the beach which is open in High Season. There are plenty of watering holes along the way there and back to stop of for a quick beer, coffee or ice cream. Everything you need is within easy reach of Casa Ericalena so a car is not essential, however trips out to Tavira, Vila Real, Monte Gordo and catching the ferry over to Spain are most definitely recommended.
