🚨In this episode we will tell stories from one of the best periods of our coach's professional life.

➡️ In 2011 there was a course held by (ISA) on P**a beach of international judging, and João did it. To complete it he had to do 20 hours of mandatory internship, that's when the great idea came between 4 friends who took the course. After the course, João, Luan, Roberto Moretto and Roberto Silva organized a meeting between them, the purpose of the meeting was to resolve how they could organize how to complete the course. Then came the idea of ​​creating your own project and circuit. Firstly, they had to participate in some surfing championships in the northeast region to complete those 20 hours of mandatory internship, which was completed successfully.
So, they organized another meeting already trained as official level 2 referees by ISA, and spoke again about the possibility of carrying out their own project, which would include a surf competition circuit at Praia da P**a and weekly training sessions such as workshop, English classes, literature, physical preparation, etc., all without financial purposes, all for the growth of children in the community, and with the aim of encouraging their studies.

☀️And finally the great P**a surf training school project (CAP) was created, growing and learning in P**a.

What makes your trainer so good?

João Muniz, with more than 30 years of experience, he certainly has a lot of stories to tell us: 🗣️⬇️

At just 6 years old, João went to live with his mother in a house in front of a surf spot called Iracema beach/metallic bridge (Fortaleza), every day after school he went to the beach to watch the surfers glide on those waves , very curious and interested, he started catching waves with his Hawaiian flip-flop in one of his hands, in tune with the surfers outside, following them with his famous flip-flop in their hand in the foam. On a certain day he met some boys of the same age and they mentioned that they were training at a local surf school. He was happy to tell his mother, who sent him to the school. After a few months he got his first board made of Styrofoam, super thick and fragile, he couldn't even put a leash on it 🤣🤣

Fearless as he was, he paddled out alone without anyone's help, then a big wave came that broke his board, João, without much experience, was underwater until he became unconscious, then the lifeguards arrived and rescued him, with maneuvers. made him breathe again. 😅

I'm happy to announce that I'm getting back to doing what I love most.🙏🏽
Because of the pandemic, I had to take a little break from what I love to do the most in order to be able to better manage finances and then support the family. But even during this downtime, I never stopped being interested and studying to be able to update myself in the midst of this sport that grows every day in the world.

I, now, announce that I will be doing 3 retreats to help take intermediate and advanced surfers to the next level.
