A whole new month and with it, the permission to slow down and be present.

You don’t have to earn your rest. You don’t have to push through to be worthy. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is let your body feel safe enough to soften and slow down.

Here’s to a June that’s gentle with you, especially with the part of you that’s been strong for so long.

If I could give all my clients one sentence to repeat when times get tough, it’d be this:

🌞There is always time in your life for you 🌞

It’s the one affirmation I’ve been using whenever I felt overwhelmed by taking care of two little ones, juggling a job that was slowly draining the life out of me, running a business and chasing my dreams, all whilst trying to keep it together day to day.

It’s the one sentence that helped me remember every day that:

✨ You can change how you’re feeling by changing the way you think.

Our mind can’t tell the difference between what’s real and what isn’t. So if one of your goals is to finally start feeling like yourself again, one of the first steps is to start telling yourself a better story.

If this keeps happening… it’s not because you’re doing something wrong.

You don’t wake up and choose to feel irritated, overwhelmed, or reactive.

But your body does and that’s the difference.

Because these patterns don’t come from your conscious mind, they come from your nervous system and your subconscious.

That’s why “trying harder” doesn’t change anything.

Real change starts when your system feels safe enough to respond differently.

You don’t actually want the next coffee or the scrolling or the distraction. you just don’t want to feel like this:

- that tension in your body
- that constant “on edge” feeling
- that you can’t quite explain or shake off.

so you try to escape it, even just for a moment. Just to end up feeling worse than before.
because your body isn’t asking to be distracted, it’s asking to be felt.

This exactly the work I do with women in my 1:1 sessions: helping your nervous system come out of that state
so you don’t have to keep numbing it down.
