Fim de semana intenso no arranque do Caterham Motorsport Iberia, no Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, em Portimão, na categoria 420R.
A qualificação não correu como esperado, com uma falha na estratégia que me deixou na P14 entre 30 pilotos.
Corrida 1: recuperação até P11, mas um problema na temperatura do motor e um erro na última volta impediram um resultado melhor.
Corrida 2: P8/30,
Corrida 3: P5/30, a mostrar progresso e confiança.
Saímos deste fim de semana motivados e com vontade de continuar a evoluir já na próxima prova, em Espanha, no Circuito de Navarra.

Um enorme obrigado à minha família e amigos. À minha equipa .insta por toda a dedicação e apoio em especial ao meu coach , ao meu mecânico e ao Team Manager .racing . Vamos juntos! 💪

An intense weekend kicking off the Caterham Motorsport Iberia at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, in the 420R category.
Qualifying didn’t go as expected due to a strategy issue, leaving me P14 out of 30 drivers.
Race 1: recovered to P7, but a slight engine temperature issue and a last-lap mistake prevented a better result.
Race 2: P8/30, with clear room for improvement.
Race 3: P5/30, showing progress and growing confidence.
We leave this weekend motivated and ready to keep improving for the next round in Spain, at Circuito de Navarra.

Este fim de semana no Autódromo do Estoril marcou a última corrida do ano do Campeonato e foram três dias cheios de emoções. Nas quatro sessões de treino, estive sempre dentro do TOP 10, adaptando-me pela primeira vez à condução à chuva com um Caterham 420R.

Na qualificação, infelizmente, não tive oportunidade de fazer uma volta rápida devido a problemas na pista (óleo), o que me deixou em P28/31. Na Corrida 1, parti de P28 e, após um pequeno toque, o volante deu uma guinada que torceu o meu pulso esquerdo, originando uma fissura considerável e três entorses na zona do pulso. Mesmo assim, praticamente a conduzir só com a mão direita e a meter mudanças com a esquerda, consegui recuperar 15 posições, terminando em P13/31.

Infelizmente, depois de fazer um TAC no hospital e receber o diagnóstico do fisioterapeuta, fui impedido de participar nas três corridas do último dia. Por um lado, fiquei extremamente feliz, porque estava a sentir um prazer enorme em conduzir o carro à chuva; por outro, desapontado por não poder disputar as últimas corridas, nas quais acredito que poderia chegado aos lugares da frente.

Um grande obrigado à minha família e amigos, e também à minha equipa .insta em especial ao meu treinador , que me deu excelentes conselhos e, após a lesão, todo o apoio de que precisei.

Parabéns ao meu colega de equipa, ._.teixeira , por se sagrar campeão. Teve uma evolução enorme como piloto ao longo deste ano.

🇵🇹 No passado fim de semana, no , no , tive de me superar para conseguir estar perto do TOP 10. Adorei o circuito desfrutei imenso e foi um enorme prazer conduzir novamente o Caterham 420R. Sei que, de longe, não tenho o melhor carro, mas tento sempre compensar essa desvantagem. Às vezes pode parecer fácil, mas na verdade passo grande parte do tempo a tentar recuperar o que falta ao carro, o que por vezes me leva a cometer erros e a perder consistência.

Qualificação – P9/30
Corrida 1 – P13/30
Corrida 2 – P16/30
Corrida 3 – P11/30

Estou ansioso pela última corrida no Estoril! Um grande obrigado à minha equipa e à minha família por todo o apoio e por me ajudarem a alcançar a melhor performance possível.

🇬🇧 Last weekend, at the Caterham Motorsport Iberian round in Jerez de la Frontera, I had to push myself to the limit to stay close to the TOP 10.
I absolutely loved the circuit I enjoyed every moment and it was such a thrill to drive the Caterham 420R once again. I know I don’t have the best car out there, but I always try to make up for it. It might sometimes look easy, but most of the time I’m pushing hard to overcome that gap, which can lead to mistakes and make it hard to stay consistent.

Sei que chegar ao topo exige muito trabalho, perseverança, acreditar em nós próprios e confiar no processo. Foi assim que evoluí no Karting, e é exatamente esse caminho que estou a percorrer nesta nova etapa com o Caterham 420R.

Este fim de semana marcou mais um passo nesse percurso, que não tem sido nada fácil. Tenho consciência de que o carro/motor não me permitem competir diretamente com o TOP 10, mas a minha equipa está a fazer tudo para que eu possa extrair o máximo do que temos à disposição, seja de mim seja do carro.

Mais importante do que os resultados, sinto um enorme prazer e gozo ao conduzir o Caterham 420R em autódromos míticos da Europa. Sim, há momentos de frustração, especialmente quando percebo que não tenho as mesmas armas que outros pilotos, e isso me leva a cometer erros. Mas cada erro é uma oportunidade de aprendizagem: o próximo passo é gerir melhor a frustração e transformá-la em foco e consistência.

O caminho é longo, mas cada volta, cada treino e cada corrida reforçam a minha determinação em evoluir.

CATERHAM MOTORSPORT IBERIA – ZANDVOORT
After leaving Jarama six weeks ago feeling frustrated with my performance, I realized I needed to change my mindset and reset my past as a karting driver.

In Zandvoort 🇳🇱, on this amazing track, I experienced three fantastic days filled with learning, adrenaline, and above all, pure joy in what I was doing. My approach was different, my mindset too — and of course, the results reflected that, with a significant improvement compared to what happened in Jarama.

It was three intense days at the Jarama Circuit, marking a new and challenging stage in my career in the Caterham 420R.

With only 14/15 laps of training, the difficulties started early: with two sessions of only 25 minutes, they were even shorter because both had red flags due to accidents. In the end, I only managed 6-7 laps per session away from the ideal to get into the rhythm.

Despite this, the track is incredibly fun and gave me an adrenaline boost right from the start. But then, it seems like I went downhill. Qualifying, Race 1, Race 2 nothing went the way I wanted. Part of the responsibility is mine. The other part... honestly, I’m still looking for answers.

My team, .insta , and I are ready to react strongly and attack with everything we have for the next round: Zandvoort in the Netherlands.

This was not an easy race for me, my first time in the Super 7. But with all this support, anything is possible.

I want to apologize to for causing the accident in Race 1. The moments after the accident were some of the worst of my life and I promise I will be much more careful in the future. It was a great pleasure to return to the Portuguese paddock to compete in the Portuguese Cup, after a year of absence, in which I dedicated myself exclusively to international competitions. During this competition, I did everything I could to win the Portuguese Cup. However, I realize that I still need to grow as a driver in this X30 Super Shifter category. I was always the fastest on the track and the most constant, but unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to guarantee victory.

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate on winning the Portuguese Cup. I am determined to come back stronger next year. The experience gained motivates me to train even harder and seek excellence in future competitions.

Foi um prazer enorme voltar ao paddock português para competir na Taça de Portugal, depois de um ano de ausência, no qual me dediquei exclusivamente a provas internacionais. Durante esta competição, fiz tudo o que estava ao meu alcance para conquistar a Taça de Portugal. No entanto, percebo que ainda preciso evoluir mais nesta categoria X30 Super Shifter. Fui sempre o mais rápido em pista e o mais constante, mas, infelizmente, isso não foi suficiente para garantir a vitória.

Quero aproveitar para dar os parabéns ao Mário Borges pela conquista da Taça de Portuga. Estou determinado a voltar mais forte no próximo ano. A experiência adquirida me motiva a treinar ainda mais e buscar a excelência nas próximas competições.

This is my first season in the demanding KZ category, and in my first year, I had the incredible opportunity to compete in the .karting.championship World Championship, which brings together the best drivers in the world from various nationalities.

I feel I have the potential to reach the Top 36 in the world, and I am determined to work hard with the support of my team to make this a reality. The weather conditions during the competition were quite challenging, and this ended up making it difficult for less experienced pilots like me to perform. Due to my inexperience I made decisions on the track that could be successful or unsuccessful, but I had to make them and that’s how we learned from them. However, we managed to achieve one of our main objectives: qualifying for the Super Heats (Top 72).

This result wasn’t bad for me, but it left a feeling that, with dedication and perseverance, next year we can aim for a place in the final. We are focused to keep working and improving, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds. Let’s gooooo!

I’m super happy with my first Kart season in the KZ category. We chose to compete in one of the most competitive championships in Europe: SPANISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

I’m super happy with my P6/44 overall in the end of the season.

None of this would be possible if it weren’t for the professionalism and dedication of the entire team and the teachings of my teammates .vea .cortees . Thank you very very much.

I’m ready to evolve as a driver and do even better next year. But now let’s focus on the KZ World Championship .karting.championship in next week.
