After three seasons, our Iberian League journey pauses here.

We have lost our main sponsor, FDI Portugal, and without that backing we are not in a position to compete this season. This is a financial decision, not a lack of belief or a lack of fight.

Three seasons without a home arena. The smallest budget in the league. And still, every big club knew they were in for a battle when they played us. Three seasons competing anyway, and giving Portuguese talent somewhere to grow. We are proud of all of it.

To every player who pulled on this jersey and gave 110% in every single game, thank you. You put Portugal on the ice hockey map. Nobody can take that away.

To our team manager Cristina Lopes Cristina Lopes and our head coach Jim Aldred Jim Aldred thank you for giving everything you had, every day, often with far less than you deserved to work with.

To FDI Portugal, thank you for what you made possible. And to everyone who followed us wherever we ended up playing, thank you.

What an incredible group of people we had.

Maybe we will be back one day.

We’re thrilled to announce that Oskars Bartulis will be the FIRST player signed for HC Porto’s 25/26 season!

🏒 After missing this season due, the NHL and KHL veteran is back, motivated, and ready to bring his experience and leadership to the ice for Season 3. Welcome back, Oskars! 🙌
