➡️ The 2026 Paddle Europe Sprint, Paracanoe and Masters European Championships, held in Montemor-o-Velho from 11 to 14 June 2026 were marked by a series of historic achievements, records, and the end of long competitive droughts.
🇨🇿 In the men's canoe events, Martin Fuksa of the Czech Republic further cemented his legendary status by claiming his 10th European title in the C1 500 metres. Remarkably, his dominance in this event began in Montemor-o-Velho back in 2013. At this edition, he also excelled in the C1 1000 metres, setting a new European best time of 3:41.797 and surpassing his previous record of 3:46.723, established in 2018. This achievement further strengthens his position as the most decorated athlete in European Championships history.
