PORTUGALNTN took part in the Visit Portugal Roadshow – Netherlands, an initiative promoted by Turismo de Portugal and aimed at professionals from the Dutch tourism sector.

During the event, PORTUGALNTN presented its walking tour proposals and private experiences designed for small groups, families, and international operators looking for authentic, sustainable programmes away from the most crowded tourist routes.

This participation made it possible to establish and strengthen contacts with tour operators, travel agencies, and partners in the Dutch market, promoting tailor-made solutions that value the nature, culture, gastronomy, and heritage of territories such as Trás-os-Montes, Douro, Alto Tâmega and Barroso, Peneda-Gerês National Park, and the Portuguese Way of St James of the Interior, while reinforcing PORTUGALNTN’s international positioning.

Mission accomplished on our debut at WTM Latin America!

Visiting São Paulo for the first time, we immersed ourselves in the Brazilian market with a clear focus: to secure new partners and promote Northern Portugal. We held dozens of strategic meetings and gave a special presentation at the Visit Portugal stand, where we showcased the unique potential of Trás-os-Montes, the Douro, Alto Tâmega and Barroso, the Peneda-Gerês National Park and the Portuguese Way of St James (Interior Route).

We returned with new contacts and the certainty that Northern Portugal has everything to enchant travellers from our sister country! 🌍✨

We hit the road and went to promote PORTUGALNTN and the territory where we prefer to work, Trás-os-Montes, Douro and Alto Tâmega e Barroso, this time at FITUR, the International Tourism Fair, which takes place in Madrid and is one of the largest in Europe.

We met with potential partners, tour operators from different parts of the globe, to show them and ‘sell’ our region.

Nature and landscape are the basis of our offer, which also includes gastronomy and wines, culture and tradition, heritage and history, but also its people and their enormous spirit of hospitality.

We offer guided and self-guided packages, believing that we can reach a very diverse audience, but one with a common attribute: the appreciation of identity and authenticity.
