Aproveitando as condições únicas e inigualável que Vilamoura, especificamente a Marina de Vilamoura oferece para a prática de desportos náuticos estão reunidas as condições ideiáis para fazer do Vilamoura Sailing um centro de estagio de referencia internacional .Desde o fácil acesso ao mar, a proximidade com o aeroporto internacional de Faro, a oferta gastronómica e Hoteleira . Com a parceria entre a companhia Náutica e a Vilamoura World esta assegurado que no campo técnico este será sem duvida o centro de estagio de referencia. Dotado de instalações que permitem que os atletas usufruam e retirem o máximo proveito dos estágios, instalações que vãos desde as salas de aula, armazenamento de barcos, balneários, rampa de acesso ao Mar e postos de amarração. O Vilamoura Sailing disponibiliza desde os Optimist, 420, 470, Laser ( Standard, Radial e 4.7), 29ers, 49ers e uma frota de embarcações semi rígidas para apoio. Cada estagio será realizado para ir de encontro as especificidades de cada atleta, tendo em consideração aspectos como a preparação física, a dieta adequada a cada um todas as áreas estão contempladas. 9th Portugal Grand Prix – Round 1
The 9th edition of the Portugal Grand Prix returns to Vilamoura, reinforcing its position within the Olympic sailing calendar.

Objective:
-competitive benchmarking
-early-season performance evaluation
-international fleet preparation

Vilamoura continues to provide reliable training and racing conditions for high-performance campaigns throughout the year.

From 10–14 November, Vilamoura Sailing will host the Skiff Junior European Championship, bringing together the next generation of high-performance sailors for a week of international racing and development.

The event reflects the continued investment in youth performance pathways and the work being developed with emerging athletes across Olympic and youth sailing classes.

With structured race management, reliable training conditions, and integrated technical operations, Vilamoura continues to support the progression of junior sailors within the international competitive environment.

The 2026–2027 season begins in Vilamoura with one of the key events in the international ILCA calendar — the ILCA 6 Men World Championship.
The championship will open a new cycle of competition and preparation, bringing together sailors, coaches, and technical teams in a structured high-performance environment.
