Yes, even while the Festas take over the neighborhood, we’re staying open throughout bank holidays, school holidays, and the Santos Populares celebrations 🤍
We’re simply adapting our schedule a little to match the rhythm of our beautiful city.

A new month begins. And this one… we celebrate!

Because Baraza turns 7 ✨
7 years of practice, people, shared energy.

A space we honor deeply. A place with a story.

Before Baraza, this was Johnny Guitar, an iconic Lisbon rock bar from the early 90s, founded by Zé Pedro of 🤘🏻
A vibrant part of the city’s music scene.

Today, the expression is different…but the pulse is still here.

We’re happy to honor this place by bringing music back into it, in our own way.

Anniversary Weekend 🤍 May 16–17

We open the weekend on Friday evening with our monthly Kirtan at 6pm, a moment where voices gather and resonate together. Precious ✨

Saturday unfolds softly…
with a special morning practice with , back at the studio for the weekend, don’t miss her or time to extend the experience outside the studio with a Yoga & Brunch alongside Marina at the best rooftop 😎.

On Sunday, we celebrate!

A 2-hour flow journey with Marina, guided by a live DJ set by - breath carried by rhythm, movement shaped by sound.

And after… we stay.

Bubbles, food, music, conversations that linger.

Later in the day, we ease back in another moment to move,

Join for a 15-hour immersive training designed to refine, ground, and transform the way you offer hands-on assists in your teaching.

This module explores the fundamentals of safe, supportive, and transformative touch, with a strong focus on understanding the mechanics of each assist and applying them intelligently across different asanas and bodies.
The approach is both practical and subtle, blending technique, presence, and energetic awareness.

This training is designed for:

We’re inviting you into a deep and immersive Gong Bath experience at the studio, held around IMBOLC — a quiet turning point in the heart of winter, traditionally associated with purification, rest, and the gentle return of light.

Alex from , originally from France and now based in Lisbon, is a Kundalini Yoga teacher, certified psychoanalyst, and sound healer specializing in gong therapy.

With over 20 years of experience, her work is rooted in a long personal healing journey and in gently supporting others through moments of transition, release, and inner realignment.

The gongs work directly with the nervous system, guiding the body and mind into slow, restorative states. This immersion supports balance, vitality, and emotional clarity, and may help ease stress, anxiety, fatigue, and sleep disturbances.

Please note that this experience is not suitable if you are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, psychotic episodes, severe heart conditions, intense sound sensitivities, or have undergone recent surgeries.
