Katrin Heuser - Treatments, Trainings, Mentorship

Katrin Heuser - Treatments, Trainings, Mentorship Hadadi is a school for Thai Massage & Yoga and a safe space for sharing the teachings of these beaut HEAL
We are all dealing with our own stories.

LEARN
For self-development or because you want to study the teachings behind the practice or because you want to be able to support others in their healing process. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and experience, empowering you on your journey. Some are causing more, and some less pain. But they all need healing. We need to change the narrative of these stories, from the story of pain and problems, to the story of health and balance. So we can begin to feel ourselves again. I believe in holding a safe space in support of everyone's individual healing process. I love working with people 1-2-1 either with Osteothai or personalised Yoga sessions, but also run regular Yoga classes and courses all with a therapeutic emphasis.

PRACTICE
Whether you are looking to deepen or to start your practice, or to develop a daily self-care routine... I believe in a non-dogmatic approach, rooted in ancient tradition and modern science, and that Yoga and all body-mind practices are available for All. The power lies in developing a regular practice, and I would love to help you with that.

One week of learning, practising, connecting and exploring Thai Yoga Massage. 🌿

The first part of this year's Practitioner Training is now complete, with a week dedicated to building strong foundations in Thai Yoga Massage, from touch and body mechanics to anatomy, energy lines and hands-on practice.

There’s still another week of learning ahead, as the group moves deeper into the therapeutic application of this beautiful practice.

A reminder that becoming a practitioner is not just about learning techniques. It’s about practice, presence, connection and gradually developing the confidence to work with the person in front of you.

People often ask what makes a practice trauma-informed.

They're usually expecting a list of techniques or qualifications.

Those things matter. But they aren't the heart of it.

For me, trauma-informed practice is a way of relating.

It begins with the understanding that every body has a history, and that history shapes how touch, movement, language and even silence are experienced.

The aim isn't to avoid challenge or discomfort. It's to create enough safety, choice and collaboration that someone can stay connected to themselves throughout the process.

These principles aren't only valuable for people with trauma histories.

They make us better practitioners, teachers and therapists for everyone we work with.

When people feel respected, listened to and able to remain in choice, something important changes.

Not because we've made the body change.

But because we've created the conditions in which change becomes possible.

As practitioners, we often meet clients whose pain has different roots, different patterns, and different needs.

This 3-day advanced Thai Yoga Massage training is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of back pain and expand your therapeutic toolkit.

Together we'll explore different approaches and protocols, working with the muscles, energy lines, abdomen and spine, as well as dynamic techniques and the use of feet, knees and elbows.

The focus isn't on following a fixed routine, but on learning to assess, adapt and respond to the person in front of you.

For experienced Thai Massage practitioners and floor-based bodyworkers ready to deepen their practice.

The quality of our presence, our ability to listen, our awareness of our own patterns and our willingness to keep learning all shape the experience of the people we work with.

This is one of the reasons I believe supervision is such an important part of ethical practice. Not because something has gone wrong, but because no one can see all of their own blind spots.

The more responsibility we hold, the more important it becomes to have spaces where we can reflect, ask questions, challenge our assumptions and continue growing.

Over the years, I've also come to realise that being a good practitioner isn't about having the perfect technique for every situation. It's about knowing when to slow down, when to seek support, when to refer on and when not to intervene.

Humility isn't a limitation in our work.

It's one of the things that helps make it safe.

The most valuable part of learning Thai Yoga Massage isn't how many techniques you know.

It's learning how to observe, how to respond, and how to work with another person's body in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and grounded.

Over two weeks, you'll move beyond memorising sequences into developing the qualities that shape a skilled practitioner: sensitivity, presence, confidence, and clarity.

Whether you're beginning a new professional path or expanding your existing work, this training offers the structure and support to help you build those foundations.

There’s still time to join the practitioner training, starting soon!

“At first I thought I was just giving a massage, but it’s about more - being in touch with others and having an impact on their mental and physical well-being.”

This is one of the beautiful shifts that can happen when Thai Yoga Massage becomes more than a collection of techniques.

If you’re ready to explore that for yourself, the next Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner Training is coming in September.

These immersions offer a playful yet in-depth exploration of movement and posture, creating space in the body, deepening strength, and refining alignment. We focus on regulating the nervous system and returning to our physical, emotional, and mental axis.

The Scaravelli inspired approach invites us to work with gravity, free the breath, and release habitual tension, allowing for effortless, easeful movement. Through curiosity and connection, we rediscover the body’s innate capacity for balance, resilience, and freedom.

Next one is 6th of September, Little Yoga Space, 10:30-12:30

One of the biggest myths in modern wellness is that healing is something we should be able to do entirely on our own.

If we just learn enough. Read enough. Meditate enough. Optimise enough.

But human beings have never developed in isolation.

From our very first moments, our nervous system learns through relationship. Through being soothed, supported, mirrored, challenged, respected and loved.

That doesn't mean we become dependent on others for our wellbeing. It means that relationships continue to shape us throughout our lives.

A thoughtful practitioner doesn't heal someone. A mentor doesn't heal someone. A teacher doesn't heal someone.

What they can do is create a relationship in which new experiences become possible.

Experiences of being heard. Of remaining in choice. Of feeling safe enough to experiment with a different way of being.

Those experiences can gradually reshape how we relate to ourselves.

And perhaps that's what healing is really about.

Not becoming someone new.

But becoming more available to the person we've always been.
