🇵🇹 Há 14 anos recebi o cinto negro das mãos do Robin Gracie , o meu professor desde 1999. Não foi o fim de nada. Foi o início de tudo.
O caminho até lá foi longo e nada fácil. Muitas viagens, muitas lesões, muitos campeonatos, muito investimento, em tempo, em dinheiro, em dedicação. Houve momentos em que duvidei. Houve momentos em que custou muito continuar.
Mas o cinto negro não é uma chegada. É uma responsabilidade. E foi a partir daí que verdadeiramente comecei a crescer: a viajar mais, a competir mais, a ensinar, a assumir um papel diferente dentro desta arte.
Hoje, 14 anos depois, estou aqui. Com uma academia, com alunos que se tornam professores, com uma comunidade que me orgulha todos os dias.
Obrigado, Robin. Obrigado ao Jiu-Jitsu.

🇬🇧 14 years ago I received my black belt from Robin Gracie, my mentor and teacher since 1999. It wasn't the end of anything. It was the beginning of everything.
The road there was long and far from easy. Many trips, many injuries, many competitions, a great deal of investment in time, in money, in dedication. There were moments of doubt. Moments when it was very hard to keep going.
But the black belt is not a destination. It's a responsibility. And it was from that point that I truly began to grow: travelling more, competing more, teaching, taking on a different role within this art.
Today, 14 years later, I'm here. With an academy, with students who become coaches, with a community that makes me proud every single day.
Thank you, Robin. Thank you, Jiu-Jitsu.
