Bye bye Rua Campo de Ourique 18💕
I am officially announcing the closing of the doors of our Campo de Ourique piece of heaven. With a very heavy heart. But a huge sense of relief🙏
I have worked hard for the past 3 years to keep it afloat, organise new things, try out, find therapists and teachers to join us, work crazy hours on the website, keeping the space clean and welcoming, marketing, management, teaching, massaging, etc. Because somehow I thought if I stop it will collapse, but right now I am collapsing. I don’t find joy in spending my time and energy being the unpaid intern for my business anymore. I could’ve done this, tried that, changed this, launched that but no. My heart is constantly racing, my mind is filled with junk and I don’t have any time to just enjoy being a human being and do what I truly love: teaching and sharing. I did everything, I gave my all, and it wasn’t enough.
Owning a physical business was always my dream and I made it happen, and in my opinion I succeeded wonderfully. I created a refuge which I felt brought peace to you, my community, not perfect of course but it reflected who I am. I leave in love and in peace. My heart is broken but filled with so much new space for new projects that excite me. When you lose excitement and passion, it is time to say goodbye, so here is my goodbye.
In-studio classes will end on June 30th. In September I will resume my teaching in a different space and outdoors and a lot of new projects!!💕
