Welcome to Divers Club Azores!

We are a boutique SSI / MARES dive centre located directly on the harbourfront in the heart of Lajes do Pico, operating from what was once the island’s historic whaling port and is today a gateway to some of the Atlantic’s most remarkable ocean experiences.

As an owner-run operation, we focus on intentionally small groups, personalised service, and carefully curated experiences both above and below the surface.

While scuba diving remains at the heart of what we do, Divers Club Azores was created to offer experiences for divers and non-divers alike. From SSI scuba diving courses and offshore adventures to snorkelling and freediving excursions, sunset boat trips, guided island tours, scooter rental, and SSI ecology courses, our goal is to help guests discover Pico and the Azores in a meaningful and personal way.

Whether you are taking your first breaths underwater, joining us for advanced offshore diving, or simply looking to connect with the island and the ocean beyond tourism, we aim to create experiences that feel authentic, intimate, and memorable.
