Do you love surfing and web design? Do you want to work in a beautiful location with a friendly team? If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are a surf school in Portugal, licensed by the government, and we are looking for a volunteer to help us with our online presence. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our website, writing engaging content for our blog, and managing our social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram. You will also have the chance to join our surf lessons and learn from our experienced instructors, or join our surf team and explore the best spots around the coast.

As a volunteer, you will get a private spacious studio with your own bathroom and kitchen, and a car if you need one (petrol not included). You will also get paid for your work, according to a mutually agreed amount. You will only have to work 5 days a week, 4 to 5 hours a day, so you will have plenty of free time to enjoy surfing and discovering the south and west coast of Portugal.

𝙒𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙛 𝙘𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.
FOR THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2022
We are a small surf schol that takes normally 14 students and maximum 16 students with 2 teachers at. We are looking for a surf coach for the October month with surf coach certificate and driver licence. with possiblity to extend the work time fr the winter ,
A day at surf school
we start the pick ups around Lagos area at 8:00 and start the lesson around 9:00. We get to the spot ( normally on the westcoast) and do a 2.5hour surf lesson and we are back to lagos around 12:30, help cleaning the material and vans , and the day is done.
Why we will be stoked to have you help out.
We will ask you to work 5 to 6 days per week, depending on guests. We have one local surf coach who works 6 times per week. However, we often have more people and at the moment we need a (almost) everyday coach to help with the lessons.
We want coaches who love to teach, want to improve their coaching techniques far beyond the basics and are keen to develop a career in the surf industry.
This role would suit someone looking for a medium career opportunity in the Algarve, Lagos.
