🌊 2011 – Creation of the Azores Marine Park
🏝️ 2008 – Creation of Island Natural Parks, integrating coastal marine areas
🪨 1987 – Creation of the Monte da Guia Nature Reserve (Faial)
✨ One of the first marine protected areas in the Azores — today a success story in total protection that we can see with our own eyes.
