South City Rollers are a Roller Derby Flat Track team based in the Algarve. SCR are a 100% owned by its skaters and running “by the skaters, for the skaters”. Our Mission: Since we still are in a formation process, SCR intent to cultivate the practice of Flat-Track Roller Derby, around three main lines: Sportsmanship and Fair Play | Diversity, Inclusion and community engagement | Sustainable personal growth. Our Vision: Because we believe that Flat-Track Roller can be for everyone, we want to be inclusive and active in the community in which we operate. Our Values:

Team Portugal is still recuperating from the excellent results obtained during this weekend, at the European Roller Derby Tournament. We reached 5th place, up from the 8th place obtained in 2014, and were victorious in 50% of the games we played. Results like these only give more motivation to keep working hard and fighting, on the track, for our country. A big shout out to all our supporters in Mons and at home and to our sponsor SISU Europe for the support. Our path continues, now towards the World Cup in 2017.
