IT LAUNCHES SURF CAMPS IN THE SUMMER TIME IN ERICEIRA AND TRAVELS ALONG THE SEASONS TO OPEN MORE SURF RETREATS IN DIVERSE SURF DESTINATIONS AROUND THE WORLD. THE PROJECT IS FOUDED
AND LEADED BY A POLISH SURFER MARGHERITA. Within a special program the project integrates surfing on all levels. Practise and theory but also lifestyle, culture, food & diet, everyday habits, self-care and human relations. Margherita’s goal is to connect people especially women who want to surf in the best surf spots across the world and to make this great surfing community grow. It is about sharing her own surf passion with other people and giving a testimony that we might have different backgrounds but in surfing we are all the same. The project supports local surf infrastructure and offers a support for all surfing guests. Beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers including surf guiding as well. Running the project allows Margherita to live a surfing life as she has always dreamed about and to surf everyday. In 2023 Girl on the Wave surf project launches diverse surf camps in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Costa Rica including the special edition ROXY

Girl on the Wave surf project is about sharing surf experience and culture. The main goal of the project is to connect the local surf infrastructure with surfing guests willing to surf and travel. To discover different surfing spots, spend time on surf activities and leisures enjoying local surfing vibes with a trusted and experienced surfing guide Margherita - female surfer, founder, creator and leader of the project. Girl on the Wave surf project believes surfing is more then just about the sport. It's about the whole life style and priorities, love for people and animals, protection of natural environment, good nutrition, body care and proper mental health. That's why the project goes much more beyond the standard surf activities. Joining Girl on the Wave surf camps you will enjoy healthy organic food, yoga practise, personal coaching work on your personal growth, local surf culture and a special surf learning program with Margherita. Over 5 years of experience with over 500 surfers shows that the surf progress comes faster if the practise is supported by the theory, surf tutorials and personal video analysis. That’s why Girl on the Wave surf project offers special learning program on every surf camp. The program is based on video analysis. There is no doubt mistakes seen faster are easier to fix and it accelerate the process of surfing grow. Especially in the short time of one week of surf camp. Girl on the Wave surf camps are inherent part of the project and offers different surf packages for beginners and lower intermediate surfers. First Girl on the Wave surf camp was open in September 2018 when 32 people came to Ericeira for the first surf experience in the time of EDP Billabong PRO and it let the project settle down. Girl on the Wave surf project is open to every surfer ! You can join the project and sign up for a surf camp as a beginner/lower intermediate surfer or embark the project surfing individually. You can come to Ericeira as a beginner ready to invest in your private coaching or as a progressing intermediate surfer if you need a support with rental or private lessons. You are also very welcomed as an advanced surfer looking for a surf guide and accommodation tips. Sharing experience is one of Girl on the Wave surf project main goals.
