The most common issue I see in people around me is chronic stress and disconnection from the body.
Nervous systems that lost their ability to distinguish between a real threat and a packed to-do list or a moody boss🤡
That’s when we see anxiety, tension, overwhelm, fatigue, hypervigilance, and a constant feeling of being “on.”
Not to mention the various diseases caused by living in fight or flight.
👉🏾Yin Yoga can be a powerful tool for nervous system regulation, because long, supported holds invite the body into a parasympathetic state — the rest, digest, and restore response.
💥 But here’s what i miss in most Yin classes:
It’s not just about the poses.
It’s about how you guide students through them🪷
It’s the breath.
It’s the awareness.
It’s the relationship to sensation.
It’s the ability to stay present with what arises.
That’s where the somatic work begins.
👁️Inside our 50–100 Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings, you’ll learn:
→ How to understand the nervous system states your students are moving through during practice
→ Trauma-informed language that creates choice, safety, and agency
→ How to recognize activation, overwhelm, or shutdown and respond skillfully
→ The psycho-somatic theory behind poses and sequences
→ How to guide classes with more depth, precision, and safety
→ Fascia Release Techniques for tension- and emotional relief
And most importantly:
You won’t just learn the theory.
🦁You’ll experience it in your own body first.
Because the best facilitators teach from embodiment, not memorization.
If you’re ready to teach Yin Yoga as a practice of nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and genuine transformation, we’d love to welcome you.
